If you send me more photos, I will post. Make sure you tell me you want them up on the blog.I like this theme.
Today we have Murphy gal, Kat's brother Benny here, Harlow and Brewer. It is fun crew. I am grooming like crazy and doing my dogs here and there as well. Tomorrow we get to see Ellie.
It's cool out. Need to groom. Need some cumin that Nathan doesn't seem to find so I can make salsa. He drives by Loblaws and says - nah can't do that line. If he only knew the lines I did when I was shopping staying for 3 hours or so.
Numbers are going down in Ontario - hooray. Still pockets with high numbers. I wonder how we will look back at this year. I surely miss our visitors. I truly do but no one is going away and we see only the ones for play or groom.
It's life and its curve. Have to weed more but will it get done this week? Heh not sure.

Hi Darlah and Nathan,
Bonnie at the end of her walk tonight. She did not want to come in the house....sitting/laying on the driveway...just enjoying the nice evening air.
I had groomed her this afternoon and put a pink bow in her hair. She received many social distanced compliments during our walk. I am biased, but she is so gorgeous with a great temperament!
Darlah and Nathan thank you so much for raising a beautiful puppy! She is a joy in my life.

Shady and Nora relaxing in their favourite chair.
Here is today's gallery. We had a busy day and it was cool. Little by little I am getting dogs groomed. So much to do, so little time.

Playing Catch Up
Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 6:34PM
Rusty enjoyed the pups today. Most that have 15 pups in hot pursuit will say get me out of here. He, instead looked at them. He touched noses and we smiled. Now Rocky looke at them as if they were gremlins and then warmed up. LOL Some of us like crowds - some of us don't.
Thank you, Ronnie for the smoked meat sandwiches. It's been a long time. It was outstanding! Also thank you to William and Sylvia for a cake for Nathan. It was incredible. You are opening our taste palate to places we have never ate at. One can get in a rut eating same old all the time.
Here is a gallery from the last 2 days.
Winston was wetter than wet and well I was wishing I was. Too busy.
I keep looking at Misty and how the dogs have torn her hair wondering if I should shave her down but look at Sky and Sage - their hair is finally coming back.
My trug is growing like crazy. I need to buy tomatoes so I can use the cilantro - thank you to the cilantro fairy!!! Tomatoes are getting large but not there yet but my cukes are already growing. I love dipping cucumbers in Tzatziki sauce. Yum.
Need to nail some existing eavestroughs up in the back. Can't replace - no money right now but could trade services for nailing it up. Anyone a handyman that is getting a pup? If not, we will figure it out after pups depart.
Good news - no raccoon has surfaced again. We see a rather super giant rabbit but mostly out front.
Since our youngest son has moved in with the girlfriend during COVID - think he is now gone as the TV departed, Nathan is the lawnmower guy and I may have to nag him about that. Thought about hiring someone to mow for his birthday/father's day present. Yes, I am laughing. I want pups to run around the grass but the lawn is too high.
Lots of grooming today. Less puppy time - sigh. I seem to be the only one other than the odd time to click pups and take video.
Tomorrow cool day and I vow not to groom. I so wish we were back to normalcy. Hope everyone is dealing and finding new creative ways to get through another day!
Happy Belated Bday: 2 Blogs Today
Friday, June 5, 2020 at 6:38PM
Dear Darlah and Nathan,
I want to wish my litter mates Javie, Chloe, Wally, Joey, and Ali a very happy 2nd birthday! Miss you all! Have fun!
Love and licks,
Lexi
This is the Ms. Ali sporting a short hairdo. She is wishing her siblings a very happy belated b-day. The birthday was yesterday but I don't put photos up if I don't get any. Lexi's was lost in the mail. Ali I grabbed off of Facebook. :-) Apologies little ones. Hope it was magnificent.
Gallery of the rest of the dogs coming tomorrow!

Your brother Desi ❤️❤️❤️

Happy 2nd birthday to my sisters and brother!
Love from Ellie and family xox
Ellie has thoroughly enjoyed having her family home with her the last few months. She is funny, playful, cuddly, loyal and loving and we can’t imagine life without her, can’t believe she is 2 already 😊❤️🐾🐾
Sky says jump for joy as it's the 2nd year of fun living. Happy birthday to my siblings. We share a birthday with the human's grand daughter and Darlah's nephew. Special day indeed! Sarah the grand daughter turns 21 - really? Please slow down!
Play From Morn Till Night
Thursday, June 4, 2020 at 7:00PM
They sleep, they play, they snack and play again. They always manage to have fun.
Short blogging today. Had to replace our washer and due to covid times we had to install and balance it ourselves and make sure it didn't leak. The washer has rubber feet so it wouldn't slide on the floor so lifting it was fun. Nathan was lucky as he slept through it. Now to wash and wash and wash.
Between grooming and the washer well now it is uploading videos and I am heading outside to do that.
Maybe time for pups to go out again too.
We have the lovely Tenshi staying overnight and Nathan says HUGE thank you for the cake - strawberry shortcake. Yum.
Tchibo departs any moment and well we will miss him. Charlie also visited today. Tomorrow we see Ollie, Winston and Gucci. Sure nice to have the visitors.
We hear that short term rentals are now doable starting tomorrow and tomorrow brings a birthday. Stay tuned till tomorrow to see whose.
Not Much

I did comb out the Sky. Her hair is finally starting to come back in after a ton of puppy play that damaged it. All our big players this happens to. Sage is also in the midst of growing the hair back in. They will have the long bang look for quite a bit of time but hoping by Fall I am tying it up. Hair on their heads, ear and tail grow slower.
Harlow departs today and I must do her just before her dad comes or she will be a ragged mess. She's had a terrific time.
This is a no gallery day. Still, we are having a great time and the dogs at this very moment are sunbathing. Yes, dogs do that too!
Till tomorrow!

It is Nathan's bday so we have family coming over at different times into the yard. It's hysterical if it wasn't so sad but this is his birthday this year. That means blogging will be too difficult.
I want to continue the Havs at Home series so keep sending photos and captions. I got Patches this morning but I need others to post as well. Tomorrow....
Today it's Nathan's Day. LOL

Meeting of the Minds
Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 5:24PM It's been a long day with grooming. Dryer stopped working and then it finally was working again. Our washer is also going silly crazy. It's a touch screen so it engages and then it won't do a thing. I told Nathan he had to go to the Laundromat and suddenly it worked. Who is looking out for him. LOL
Dogs had fun. I washed Willow but no one else of mine today. I didn't even get to comb anyone out. LOL I will....
Last night I laid on the couch with pillows propping my back and fell asleep till bedtime then I slept again. That's the 1st time I did THAT other than when I had a flu - what 2 years ago?
Bailey thought the puppies were gremlins and then she started to engage with them. I am glad I was there at the time.
Pablo departed. I spruced him up again. Thank you to his humans for the hanging baskets - truly unexpected and nice.
I am still falling down on the job with Nathan's birthday. Oh well, theese are crazy times. LOL
Rain Rain Go Away
Friday, May 29, 2020 at 6:40PM
Coco, Pablo and Ella
It's okay that it is raining as it does water the plants. I did a fair bit of weeding first and the dogs were outside with me but then the rain came. Play was fun today.
I groomed a ton so my back is unhappy - and then added weeding. So blogs are going to be very short. Sorry. Got a full day of grooming tomorrow so I need to rest the back.
Both Coco and Tenshi had puppy time. It was wonderful!
Pablo is sleeping over and the girls LOVE, LOVE, LOVE him. Tenshi departs tonight and Coco departed earlier. I bet they dream of puppies tonight. These pups are really nice to the adults.
Raining Outside, Play Inside
Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 6:16PM Thank you Dorothy for the strawberries - oh soon YUM! I planted in the rain. The dogs - well they looked at me as if I was NUTS and perhaps I am. They played off and on all day inside and well when it was nap time, many opted in for the bed nap. It is always a choice and they sometimes choose to go and sometimes not. Some ALWAYS choose.
It is cooler out today. That was okay as it did allow me to weed these wonderful weeds that poke you through your gloves. I have so much weeding to do - it is unreal. I am determined to make another area for teh dogs to run and that means removing many weeds and well removing blueberries that must be the same gender as they never bear fruit. The entire area in front of the pool shack needs revamping but honestly, do I have time? Will the dogs appreciate and well maybe I am being ridiculous. I also have the middle bed to redo but not this year.
Plus we have pups, grooming and well I have bags to sublimate, stuff to get ready for bags for pups to go home. We will get it done. LOL
I also need to figure out Nathan's birthday on Monday. maybe I will give him staying in bed all day. LOL
Swim Time
Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 6:24PM
Willow decided to jump in not once not twice - many times. Dogs that swam yesterday other than Ella said nah... lol It happens. I got in the pool and did 10 laps and then well I was busy. You will see why in the other blogs.
I got my trug planted. There is so much surfacing and I am so trying to weed but not weed teh wrong thing. Usually I know better but this is confusing. I do not usually let things go to seed and then not even cover up the trug but I think I have lettuce, a pepper or two. I so need strawberries so if someone knows a good source, point me to them. The ones I had in the pots didn't make it. Not enough soil - live and learn.
We are supposed to get cooler weather and rain. I may get some grooming done if so. LOL They say 100% chance of rain tomorrow - trace rain Friday and sunny but cool Saturday and Sunday. Monday is Nathan's birthday so I need to figure that out too in these restricted times. He deserves a great day!
Another Hot One
Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 7:22PM
Brewer Swimming
Harlow Swimming
We had Harlow and Brewer swimming today. Both very strong swimmers. Tenshi was not interested but maybe on a day she needs a solid grooming and when it is hot, we will bring her in.
We also brought Tenshi in - not a love of the pool yet. We brought Halle in - she is a very strong swimmer and motors along though not yet wanting to jump in either. Spirit - well she also went in. She was a strong swimmer but went I want to run around the pool and watch everyone else - not ME! Sage and Misty are nut jobs and are in every chance they get. Roxie and Ella also swam but that was it. Some chose air conditioning and who can blame them.
It was a mighty hot day and I am ever so thankful especially with pusp that we have air conditioning. People who followed us know for the last 3 years ours was not working so we had to have freon on, live through a heat wave and pray the freon would last all season. Last year they fished a line in and this year it worked right out of the gate. We thought we needed a new one but here is to another year without that expense considering this was a very hard hit year financially. We escaped the bullet - is that how the saying goes?
I did transplant my 2 tomatoes and cucumber but have yet to do the trug. I noticed my lettuce that went to seed reseeded. There is a bonus to laziness or is that no time? I never closed my trug last year. Now I am seeing all sorts of surprises and I do not have to buy them. hmmm
Still need everbearing strawberries. Going to call around to see who has. No year to just shop without an idea if the item is there.
Thank you to Dorothy for a ton of cilantro. I still need to know how much I owe you. Deepest appreciation!
I have no hanging baskets. I may buy 1 or two for colour but I am not putting up my water pots nor many other planters. It will have to do and maybe just maybe I will get used to this less thing. I still have a trug to clean up but afraid that I may pull out a welcome surprised. Besides it is still hot - too hot and well the air feels nice. Happy gardening!
