Sorry No Photos

In case you haven't noticed it is downright hot out there - baking weather. Not the hang out and have fun type weather so we are playing mostly inside. I didn't click too much of the adults. I was feeling like I was getting better then we did the pups and I took a video and did laundry and did the pool and well then I feel like &^%$ so medicated I am so I can be all I can be for the dogs.

They are playing and having fun. I am just bad as I didn't click photos. My apologies. Tomorrow is a new day as they say. But know they are having fun.

You may see some in the Roxie pups gallery as they were greeting them. Ozzie was also in playing with them so you will see him in the video. I kept trying to get him to jump on the couch but he was more than fine with them.

Ellie departed. Ty went home. 

Can the sun go down so we can play outdoors, please? This baking stuff is not fun. Now we do take the dogs out frequently but short spurts in heat like this. Cold fresh water everywhere even outdoors always.

Two Updates Today

Everyone is having a lot of fun. I think I am better but just did 2 dogs and suddenly do not feel that way. Really need to crawl on a couch.  Tomorrow is a new day.

Muddy But Fun

Yesterday and this morning we had rain and boy did the dogs have fun. 

I am still sick so blogs will be short. Dennis is now sick. Nathan says he has a sore throat but Dennis and I are full tilt - joy not.

Roxy, Poppy, Ellie and Molly are having a fantastic time. None are our breeding but they found our fun place of doggie heaven and they are doing really well. It doesn't matter how hesitant a dog is on drop off we always manage to get them to cultivate their coping skills and have fun and that they did. 

I would have to say they are having a muddy good time!! Sorry there are not more photos but hoping I am up for more clicking tomorrow. All these photos was Nathan and Dennis' clicks.

Water Therapy and More

Both Colby and Rosie had operations (different types) so we took them in the pool to get some mobility and strength into the area. They both did really well. They need to come more often.

Neither are our breeding but they do come here to visit and we love them immensely!!

Today, I found out my mother died. Years ago she died as she had alzheimers but it still hurts. 

Between being sick and this, I may be lean on the blogs. Hope you understand.

I have to say thank you to Patt as Sadie (Thyme) cuddled with me making me feel better. It was nice to have that experience. Thank you for sharing Sadie and Marlee with us. Marlee we adore and of course Sadie is a character. Thanks again!! Timing couldn't have been better!

Too Sick

Too sick to blog - really. I am off to lay down. That sick so enjoy a photo of the Marco boy. Hopefully I will be alive tomorrow. Chills, hurting chest - all that fun stuff. 

Oh and those that asked, love having Sadie visiting and Marlee fell or jumped in the pool? Had to blow dry her. Nathan was taking a nap at the time so I was it. 

We empty out tomorrow. Going to get quiet for a day or so.

Look Who Dropped In

Sadie (Thyme) and Marlee arrived and they are both having a complete blast. Me, I am sick so I have to rest for a bit as I have a 3pm grooming and I am not sure I am up for it.

Yikes Mud and Rain

I am so trying. I clean feet. I brush them and still this is what they look like after going outdoors. I had plans to transplant a couple of plants but not today. I also need to start working on the middle bed but I figure after pups depart. Then I have no excuse.

Saffron is supposed to be done her heat tomorrow. I think she is done today. She is playing with a squeaky toy which tells me she is pregnant. Its what she did last time but I didn't clue into it. Tomorrow Sadie (Thyme) will be here and it will be interesting to see how Amy and her connects. Marlee gal is coming too and it will be fun to watch their interaction together. I just hope this weather clears up.

As its such a mucky day that it seems fruitless to just wait till tonight when they are even more messy, I decided to do the blogs early. Maybe I will get cuddle and tv time with them. I would like that. Too often Nathan gets it and I am blogging. :-(

Sun, Cloudy and Pouring Rain

Think this is the new norm in a summer day. Chester, Tenshi and Charlie went home. We had to fix our pot as it was leaking (water pot) and it takes 12 hours to cure in dryness. So today we got to put all the water plants back after putting all the bricks in the pot for shelving for the plants. Seeing we had our hose out *unkinkable version - hooray) I watered the plants and transplanted 2 plants. I needed to do another but ran out of soil. Tomorrow.... The dogs found the process fascinating and they love fresh potting soil.

I did manage to brush everyone out and do mega laundry. We had a few run run run games. Then the clouds came and then the rain and we have been playing indoors. Soon it is tv time!

Hot and Muggy

The Charlie - a full of life fun oneSo hot out today but as you will see in the gallery we play indoors too. Dogs are having a lot of fun. Charlie and Chester departs tomorrow. Holly comes for the day while their humans go to Wonderland. That is, if it doesn't rain. 

Everyone is truly finely meshed. They all enjoy each other. 

Amy and Chester are tight but come Friday Saffron will be done her heat and will be able to hang out with Amy. It is time and they both will so enjoy it! Plus Sadie comes this weekend. Brie and Colby will also be dropping in - been awhile and more fun!!

Short Blog Due to Vet Day

Here is today's gallery. They played. They enjoyed and it started at 7am. Dennis said they were great while we were at the vets.

They are really enjoying each other and it is rather nice to watch. As the days go by they create all sorts of bonds. It is interesting to see who they play with from day to day.

No one got to swim but maybe tomorrow.

Weather Make Up Your Mind

It was sunny. I ate. I was going to take some dogs in the pool then it clouded up and it was put the towel on cold. So, I said forget about that and got out of the suit. Then it got hot again then cloudy. So, we played but so much for the swimming we planned. Was going to get the pups back in too. This is truly crazy weather.

Amy and Chester are truly clued into being siblings and are enjoying each other. Pixie and Leo depart tonight. I need to figure out my day tomorrow and what I have to get ready. See Roxie blog to understand.

We have these plants with the seeds from hell as they stick to their coat. So, I have been combing it out. Dennis - yoo hoo - I got half gone - your turn. :-) I need my sanity.

As I type the dogs are running in the kitchen. Got to laugh at the fun!  

Coolish Day

The dogs were more comfortable outside today despite the humidity. We got to hang out, run around and enjoy. Nathan even managed to get walked on.

Cooler Day

Finally Cooled Down Gallery

Dogs are having fun. Rusty was here and Momma did a wonderful job considering he went cottaging, hahahaha. Lucky dog.

Pixie and Leo dropped in and are having a blast already. Pixie already reclaimed her spot in the tv room. 

They say rain is coming tonight so I want to get out to play with the dogs. 

Van is in shop and we had to rent a vehicle for Monday as we have the puppy vet visit then. 

I had Tracy take me to Brunos but I feel guilty saying can we go to Costco or Longos too? 

I groomed most of the day. Jumped in the pool for a few and now I am blogging!

Way Too Hot

Was way too hot so much that the dogs do not want to hang outside. Daddy watch tv - Nathan watch tv and we will hang with you please! We still take them out to do their duty and attempt to play but inside on a cool floor is what they want. Tomorrow they say cooler weather coming. Dennis ran with them indoors but nothing like outdoors.

After the sun goes down we will get them out for a play session. It was too hot for the puppies too so no outdoor video for them either. It happens. maybe by 8pm is will be cool enough.

Everyone is getting along really well. 

I made chicken broth ice cubes with pieces of chicken and if its still hot tomorrow the dogs will enjoy! It's a cheap treat that they enjoy when it is extra hot! 

Blew It

I had a bunch of photos and thought I had changed the stick and formatted it. So, it's a no photo day. Sorry. I was multi-tasking. You see we have these weeds that have seeds and they are getting caught in the dogs hair so I have been brushing them out and pulling weeds. It was hot. Then the daughter came over for a swim and well there you go.

So tomorrow photos - today - ooops!

Dogs are doing well. No one wanted to come into the pool. Roxie and Ella jumped in with the grand daughters. 

Still no car and looks like its the transmission - when it rains it pours. 

But we have the dogs for hugs!!

Visiting

Jesse and Murphy are visiting just overnight. He got to be exposed to the pups and so did Roxie and Poppy. We will try those that show interest.

We had several visitors that had to be slowly conditioned to Jesse. They are not used to a big dog like him, I imagine. So they bark at him and he turns away. They start to go - oh he is just big but harmless. I like when he comes as it helps those that are not familiar with him. 

He tends to engage without being in their face. Where Inula is a moving target who doesn't know how to contain herself. It is good for the pups and the adults. We fear what we do not know. 

The dogs played a great deal. They got these %^&%$# seeds in their hair so it seems Dennis has some weed pulling to do in the back garden. Probably me too. 

We are off to do tv time then run like crazy game outside. time to cut this short!

Oh Some Fun

The blogs are short tonight. We had company and well not enough time to click and video. Helen and Suzie came over and a few of the dogs swam but most wanted to stay inside with the air.  Here is the video of Roxie, Ella, Kat, Milo and Hugo - oh yeah and Inula. The rest - it was as if they knew when it was cloudy.

We have 2 dogs here that have never been here and they are fitting in really well.

I am extra tired tonight. The van has to be brought in tomorrow - probably the transmission. Got to get landscape paper and stones and dig but maybe with the lack of being able to go anywhere will help me focus on that or take a break. We shall see!

As I type the crew is sitting in the tv room laying all over nathan and Dennis. Life is grand!!

Not Any Old Sunday

Sounds like Sadie is a great Cottage gal. Lucky her!! She even got to go in the boat! I am so glad she is on an adventure. Better to start it in the summer, I say!

Cha Cha and Jeannie seem to be enjoying each other and Satch really likes Winston and Stone.

Got a photo of the Spicy one and yes you can see that smile of hers. I just love that photogenic messy look. It is so her!  Check out the video.

Here is the Sadie living the life up at their cottage and I hear she will have a boat ride. What great adventures both Spicy and Sadie are in for. We may miss them but oh boy it makes our hearts swell when we see how happy they are!
