It's mucky outside and I am so trying to keep Clarity (pictured here) and Frannie clean after their bath and haircuts. Both of their personalities tell me it's going to be a challenge. May have to freshen them up before pickup. heh
Due to ice we are doing indoor and outdoor play and having a blast!

Ms Saffron is off for a weekend visit at Murphy's home. I do so hope she has a great time. Heard she is playing a game of retrieve. How fun!!
It's so cold here that the dogs aren't going out for long. Caddie and Envy have departed. It's been an exceptionally busy day. We got to see Dallas. That was great fun.
Our grand daughter Sarah has now taken poor Kat out for a long walk as he is beside himself as he just can't understand why he isn't getting the girls.
Visitors and our own are having a great time. Me, I am ever so tired. Dolly departs tomorrow - sniff, sniff.
I think I am fried '[thought wise' tonight so if I don't make sense - just smile. Here's the gallery.

Here's today's gallery taken this morning. Marlee, Jazmyn and Teddy arrived this afternoon so see their pix in tomorrow's gallery. It's mighty slushy and cold out there but the dogs still managed to have a blast.
I am going to do the puppy blogs late tonight as I have Caddie and Envy to bathe as they depart first thing tomorrow. They are a priority but I promise I will get to them tonight as the Panda pups had their very first outdoors and they traipsed through slush. You will have to see how they did. So look for them around 8 or a bit later. I have to try to eat too. hahahaha
Dogs are mighty messy but they have been washed and dried so many times I can't think straight but at least they are not knotty or chilled.
Soon they will settle in after one more big play session to blankets, tv and snuggles. I will join in after blogs - well I hope I can as my goal is to finish before bed time. heh

Dogs are having a blast but nothing like 2 siblings to place it in overdrive. Mickey is just here tilll tonight. They have enjoyed each other immensely!
The adults seem to be mellow today. They run and play but do a lot of sniffing. When you don't have snow you have a lot of reading what's there by the dogs. This is how they can tell who was there before them and even how they felt. Did you know urine smell can change if a dog is fearful. Never realized how much till we have our late Whitney who was a rescue and for a solid year she was fearful of everything. Find out more about their sense of smell.

Sorry due to how busy I didn't get any photos clicked but everyone was groomed. They also had wonderful play sessions and are now napping with Nathan. While we are at class they will be out playing and running after Dennis. Tracy and Dani will be playing with the crew too.
Me, I am doing blogs so I don't come home to them tonight and then Nathan gets to breed the gals. They depart Friday morning. Busy week but a fun one too.
I can't believe Coco and Doozie have baths in the morning and then they will be off. How did that happen so fast. They are so delightful.
It's a no photo day as we have class with Stone and River. I am going to watch and take videos and photos to share tomorrow.

The dogs enjoyed being outside more today. It wasn't as warm as yesterday but not severely cold. Here's a gallery.
It was a no groom day and I sort of had pressure to forgo that telling me the pups have class tomorrow and needed baths. They even said our grand daughter Sarah who wants to learn how wasn't home till class so today was the day. I told them how much and what type of shampoo and conditioner and he is showing her how to wash the dog. Got to find solutions without making exceptions otherwise the exceptions will mount up. Nathan insists its my job but he is doing it for Sarah. Nice!
Dogs had a blast running through pool cover water so I will have much to do tomorrow to play catch up but everyone deserves a semi day off, don't you think?
Tomorrow I wash Stone and go to class. Going to be a long day so will have to try to get blogs done early or they will be short.
Looking forward to tv time after doing blogs.

This is how it works. If you get behind due to unforeseen emergencies well you get extra busy the next day. So today I got a lot done but feel like I didn't get anything that I planned done. We also had planned to take out the Leti pups but really it was a wet mess and everyone looked at me with 4 eyes when I suggested they did. Honest, it was too wet out there.. See the gallery. Small gallery but its really icy out there. I promise to do better tomorrow.
Dogs are really having an exciting time. Dennis did a chase game in the house and I just about died laughing. I played retrieve and Nathan tried to take a nap with them but it didn't work out.
Needless to say all dogs got soaked today.

All the dogs are great (taking a nap with Nathan at the moment) - Danielle not so much. She is in emergency as she has profuse bleeding from the stoma. So we are hoping they can correct it and stop the bleeding and send her home but not sure.
We are still hopeful. I am updating the other blogs. This one will be short. Beauty of the ipad.

Dogs are really doing well though we now have 4 gals in heat in the tv room separated from the boys and tonight the grand daughters will be sitting with them watching tv when we have the 6 week visit with the Leti Puppy people.
Heats last 3 weeks.
Everyone loves Caddie and Envy.
I am tired. Wish I could take a nap but maybe it's an early night to bed.
The dogs are coming in slushy and I hear by this weekend it may be warm again.
Murphy is a drenched rag today. Got to get her dry before departure. heh

We have visitors today and we are going out to eat with them. Yes, that means the boys are coming. That means blogs have to be done early and I have to get out of my grooming clothes. hahaha
A few days ago Roxie started her heat. Adele started hers today. Kat thinks someone is in his prime as his teeth are chattering.
It's called the crazy times.
Dogs are all playing but it is rather slushy out there. Check out the gallery. Coco and Doozie have been amazing us with all their bows and twirls. It's a riot and quite wonderful what Carol has done with them.

This is snowballs on the belly weather but it doesn't seem to be an issue with the pups. They ignore that they have them.

Five years ago, I wrote - Meet Fiona and sire: Paula's chocolate Phantom - pups. 2 gals, 2 boys. From top, gal, boy, gal, boy. Now to catch shut-eye while Nathan relieves me. 36 hours without sleep is tiring.

Teddy has departed. Levon and Trigger has arrived. It's still cold but they are playing outside a bit more that our deep freeze days. See the gallery. This gallery was taken early today.
Just before bed Cooper will get bathed. He departs first thing and I didn't want to get up at 6am and start bathing. So, tomorrow morning he will just get lined combed. Cody and Micky will also depart. But then Alvin comes for a play day. Frannie and Ozzie will drop in. It's going to be a fun week but not sure if Kat and Truffie will survive the boyfriends coming in Wednesday. They will be here 1 week and then when Paula returns from her holiday, we will have to drive them to Barrie at the crack of dawn. It will be worth it at the end of the day.
But I have to say I surely wish I had the pool. Crossing my fingers that April is deep hot spring. hahahaha

Here's a skimp gallery. I apologize but its still too cold for the dogs to run so I can snap and well its a holiday.
Dogs are loving playing indoors. We are hoping the deep cold goes soon so we or I can get back to snapping but tomorrow I have baths to do for others. Cooper will get done just before bed tomorrow night as his Momma and Daddy are coming early Tuesday. This way I can just touch him up and he won't get dirty. We will also say goodbye to Cody, Mickey and Teddy this week. But we have Levon and Trigger dropping in so a lively place will be had.
Daisy said NO WAY to going out today though we did manage to get her out she thought this was not what sane beings do.
We have plans to watch tv - perhaps something romantic and get draped by dogs. It will be a fun day and I may even have a gin and tonic. heh
We had leftover Chinese - not as good as fresh but hey we had it yesterday. Looking forward to a relaxing rest of the day, I hope.

Lifting paws is a sure sign it is too cold and if you are Daisy you lay on your tummy and lift all 4 paws and then stand on 3 legs. What a riot she is. Cooper comes in very quickly but he doesn't seem to be bothered as much. They are only out a minute or 2 or 3 at the max. It's an indoor day for the most part. It will be quick outs and ins. Here is the gallery. So this is all the photos you will get.
I think the biggest issue is humans and dogs are not used to it.
Also Spice and Jeannie are in heat so Kat has lost his mind. This is not fun seriously.
We also may do Chinese today as it is bound to be too busy even with take out. We are waiting to see when they open. They tend to come in when they come in.
