Have to update tomorrow. the day got away from me as we were playing with the dogs!

Busy Day

We had a puppy go home, a bath for Tiger Lily, a bath for the pup going home tomorrow and Chase dropped in. Chase really has been enjoying Risa's company. Chase fits in real easily. She is having an amazing time.

Blog is photo-less today as I really want to spend time with the hubby and dogs. Hope you understand!

We have a pup departing tomorrow. A stone hit our window in our van so that has to be fixed tomorrow and well Jebi departs and Daisy arrives. It is going to be a blast as Daisy is a fun dog. Daisy is Kat's sister's daughter. Did you get that? :-)

Early Blogging

We have an evening affair for our grand daughter so everything is getting ready early. Dennis wil remain home with the dogs and we are out celebrating an event for our oldest grand daughter. Her sister has an operation this summer and we are hoping that this gives her some quality time with friends and well just being a teenager. We shall see. 

Tomorrow pups start departing. I have been going crazy getting everything done. My knee hurts like well we won't talk about it but we are dealing. A dog chewed an outdoor cushion faster than you can blink and eye. We won't say any names but it means now I have to replace 3 pieces as they all 3 match (2 chair pads and 1 bench pad). Oh well, they were getting old, I suppose. Did think 1 more year but life has a way of changing plans. hahahaha

Dogs are doing really well. They are enjoying the cooler weather. Penny has fit in like she always has been here. Coco finds comfort up on the outdoor cushions. Nathan even placed stairs for them to get up and down with ease. It's a dawgs world around here, I tell you.

Coco thinks cushions, cool breeze and chillin is a bit like heaven. Me too!

The dogs play, they rest. Rest is important too.

Sometime next week the pool cover comes off!

Weekend is here.... sun is out - cold still... oh well....

Outside Craziness

This is Ella's brother!

Roxie and Ella remain close. Roxie still cleans her ears and treats her like her pup.

Brewer has moles in his yard in Richmond Hill and he can't find a soul that will help him. If you know of someone, please let us know.

Logan wasn't sure what the squirrel hunting is about. 

It's been a day. Just heard Val won well at the TT specialty in the states and her Pemba just died from an accident. I am a bit shell shocked. Not sure what exactly happened but give your pups a kiss.

No Update Day

I came, I played and oh boy I need a brushout. heh Dogs had a blast today but I want to crawl on the couch. Instead I got brushing and bags to get ready for pups to go home. 

Is it Raining Yet?

Nathan is off to handling class with Ella and Inula. I washed 6 dogs today including Jazzy who will be going home. We had a getting acquainted with Lucy and I did walks. I am tired so blogs will be short. Nathan wanted me to go to class but with blogs and as tired as I am... well I am here. :-0

Down Time

Whenever it is hot or we have done a great deal of play we settle into the tv room for some down time. It is important to have rest - humans and canines when life has been busy. 

We have had a fun but hot and busy day!

Coco and Doozie was not impressed at me clicking and interfering with their naps. I get that!

2 Updates Today

Rabbit watching heh

Its a hot day and we are waiting till after the sun goes down before we do our walks. Dogs have been playing and as you can see finding a rabbit. I also found....

inside on the cool floor was mighty comfie. 

Still they went out and played but just like us they are adjusting to this heat but rain is coming tomorrow and a cooler week is ahead they say. No rain till tomorrow night they say.

Wonder what they will do when the cover is off. That will happen in a week. Hoping for one hot day before pups depart so we can get them in the pool. We shall see.

And Jazzy keeps digging cool beds in the garden. So much for staying clean. I love this dog!

Happy Birthday, Cooper. The sun is shining on your day and it will be a splendid one indeed! What a lucky boy you are to have that as your cake!

No Photo Day

We have way too much to do. We had - well I had a lot of dogs to do so no puppy baths and no photos. Its just a reality as the last time I checked I am not super human even when I want to be.

I know some of you are gardeners. I am looking for hanging baskets that aren't an arm and a leg. We went to a farmers market and they were $60 each. Are they really that high this year? So, please if you see some stunning hanging baskets or window boxes, please send me email and tell me where. 

My garden is a mess but we are working 5 minutes here and there. The pups love the twigs etc. They are fast becoming master gardeners and the adults say hey we know how to do this. Coco and Doozie lazed out on the cushions this afternoon with a look of - well this is the life. Jazzy dug a hole to laze in. The dogs are LOVING this weather and all the plants growing as it gives more areas to explore.

Next week I hope to paint the outdoor furniture. I would like to have it done before we start pool time and having people over. Nathan would like me to sand and stain but I said are you going to sand - he said no so its going to be a solid stain over the stain that is on it - no sanding year for me! What colour, I haven't decided. 

Pool will be opened sometime the week of the 24th. I am soooooooooooooo excited. Then we will have pups over to swim with their humans of course. We are also looking forward to going to Hunstville and to Grand Bend to visit friends.

Just Chillin'

The humans have a vet visit for the Spice pups so no real update today. We are expecting rain. Lets hope Sunday is gorgeous!

Coco and Doozie dropped in and so did Cha Cha. Life is rather fun. Dennis and Jon will be staying with the crew at home while we road trip. We expect to be home at 6ish - well we are hopeful.

Just Jazzy

Jazzy says where did everyone go? Do I get you all to myself, uncle Nathan? Jazzy is getting used to the gremlins - oops the pups and he finds he can move faster than them. hahahaha

Getting Later

We are doing so much outside that I am getting later and later on the blogs. It will be easier after the pups depart. With the weather decent we spend a lot of time with older dogs and pups but still my garden doesn't get done. hahaha

Tomorrow Lila and Zoe depart. I am not sure what the pups will do without them. They have had a blast with them. Tiny comes every couple of weeks to hang out and play and boy does he expel some energy. 

Brewer played his heart out today. Bet you he is sleeping at home.
Now Jazzy is my resident gardener. He loves the garden so. He is found digging holes and laying in them here and there. I have to laugh. Maybe he will even dig a hole where weeds are so I can get some help. We just love Jazzy! He just adores our yard and late night drinks. heh

Cold Day Here

Not much to report on. Recent visits - Rusty visited - home now. Mabel is visiting and so is Jazzy. Here are some photos of the day.

We had a blast but it was ever so busy today. Can't believe Zoe and Lila go home Thursday and Friday vet time, Sunday puppy visit - oh boy. It best be warmer than today!

Dennis took these photos as we were at the vets - a few he took before the vets. He didn't get everyone doing everything. He said they had a total blast but he said staying engaged with the dogs was more important than clicking, I hope you agree. Here is what he did capture.

No Update Time

Will update late tomorrow and taking a break today. I have been walking all the dogs and well we cleaned up all the dirt, leaves etc from the decks, walkways etc. Dogs have been playing but I haven't been clicking. Sorry.

Tonight Inula has class. I am exhausted as my body adjusts to all this walking and garden junk. Nathan wants me to go to class but all I want to do is craw into bed.

I promise I will do better tomorrow. Everyone is having a blast. They really, really like the weather and the transition to walks now that the ice and winter is gone. Me, like I said my body is adjusting and I am walking more than Nathan. 

Right now he is sleeping with dogs draped on him. He also carried out furniture etc. He too is exhausted. It reminds us we are not 20 any longer.

Our son, his wife and their daughter are driving to Las Vegas from Florida. I am getting  blow by blow of where they are. Makes me feel almost a part of it. She has clinical trials to do on Monday so they can't just take their time. Oh to be young. Rather sad that they will be so far away.

Just Some Shots

Not much to report today. We all had our walks - yes everyone walked. We played and I think they are tired and seem to be finding the tile nice and cool. It was a warm day but high heat is coming. It means air will have to go on or you may have to shoot me. Lets hope for 20s vs 30s. 20s the dogs can help me garden. 30s.. not till night time. 

Looking forward to tv time and getting draped by dogs. It's the best part of the day. Nathan thinks they all want him but hey when I sit in that recliner I suddenly can't see the tv. I guess they love me too. :-)
