Lynda's Video
Sunday, October 23, 2011 at 7:13PM Here is a video that Lynda (Logan and Panda's mom) took. Thanks so much, Lynda!! Glad you and Gallen could make it!
Puppy Get Together
Sunday, October 23, 2011 at 5:46PM
We had a few people over from the last few litters. It was a great way to spend an afternoon that was warm.
Sure I had things to do but this forced me to set it aside and just enjoy the day, the dawgs, the people and that great weather.
Check out the photos. I didn't have time to crop or do anything else to them so they are what they are. Hope you still enjoy!
We had a couple of Treasure pups, Wasabi pups and Abigail pups and all of their wonderful families plus Logan from Yvonne and Cooper (alias Sinner).
Thank you everyone for coming!!
Risa Getting Older
Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 5:59PM
The Risa was carefully lined comb and ended up just like this. How long did it take?
Oh about 10 minutes - longer than Wasabi and Spice but still....
Risa has started to do mad play each morning. Nathan gets the dogs outside and I look for my bathrobe. It's a ritual. One could leave the bathrobe in one place and next to the bed but it gives me those extra couple of minutes to scratch and rough it up with mad play with Risa and she just LOVES it.
Never say they are too old for fun. We aren't too old for fun either!!
Training is Important
Friday, October 21, 2011 at 6:59PM
Cooper was leading the pack in the game of retrieve today. We are making progress. Cooper now does sit in the sea of much confusion and competition and distraction. Bravo, Nathan!!
Good news is we are also working on the rest at the same time.
Cooper may be joinng our class on Wednesday.
Are any of you filling out your scavenger list already?
Think we will go visit the local vet on Bayview with Cooper and Roxie and ask what their prices are and hours. That way that's one more thing pinged off on the list that we have accomplished.
What about you?
Looking forward to Sunday!!
Wet Fun
Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 4:26PM
The dawgs had a BLAST outside and incase you didn't notice Risa is also running full steam.
There's something about wet and other havanese that really amps up the fun and excitement.
I missed it as I was grooming and getting my tools ready to wash Molly but I get to see it in the photos. Looks like a LOT of fun was had!
Those Kids
Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 4:58PM
The kids have started playing a game of hide and seek under the brush and trees and bushes. The adults seem to play around with it and get the game.
How do they communicate that they adults know what the games are and what the rules are?
They use body language. You should educate yourself as its fascinating how without words they still manage to understand what the others want.
Funny Story
Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 8:13PM
Abigail really enjoys watching out for the little ones.
But what I want to know is why is the grass still growing between the cracks?
Do we have to weed before winter hits?
Nah as the dawgs just find this fun having more to chew on.
I have to tell you a funny story. Logan, who was visiting today was sitting on our kitchen chair. I got blamed as the dawgs had trash on the floor.
Something about I left the cover open. I knew I hadn't.
It seems Logan knows how to put his paw on the top to open it and then distribute what is inside. We caught him.
Guess what moved? Yep, the trash can. Still, I am amazed that he is so smart.
Dawgs never stop amazing me!
Headache Time
Monday, October 17, 2011 at 6:28PM
These two were having a blast but this photo makes me think of - oh my mom I have a headache with this ahem on my head.
The crew had lots of training to recall and walks and play and even leave playing.
What did you do today?
The Sinner and Spice
Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 7:15PM
The Sinner is sticking around for a couple of weeks till he goes to live with his forever family.
He's in for a treat as he is going to get training right along with the Rox and everyone else.
I just love the Sinner but his name will change. Stay tuned!
Sopping Wet
Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 8:24PM
Another sopping wet day in paradise... well dawg paradise. I am not sure this human would agree after drying this crew out.
Not much to say as I have to dry another dawg.
Hoping for dryer times tomorrow!
Weekend is Here
Friday, October 14, 2011 at 5:30PM
It's wet, wild and crazy around this place but we don't mind. Wait till you see some of our crew running on the wet security cover along with Logan and Panda who is visiting.
We had so many photos of this crew running, jumping and having a great deal of fun but nothing like catching it in action. Check out the video!
Football Hike?
Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 6:33PM
It almost looks like a football hike now doesn't it?
What did Nathan have in his hands that had their attention? Could it be treats or did he need any?
The dawgs started out ever so dry and looking good groomed and all and looking like - well you don't want to know after the rain hit them.
We have a special fun-filled visitor tomorrow.
More tomorrow!
Crazy Fun Fetch
Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 8:10PM
Linda, Logan and Panda's mom hung out with the dawgs today and relaxed and watched the craziness of the game called fetch.
As you can see Kat is in the thick of it.
The ball that Steven and My got us was chewed through in one day, can you believe?
This other ball is rubber type of material and so far no chewing.
What was THAT about?
Then this afternoon the rain came and we did fetch in the house. It was a CRAZY dawg house for sure!
Just a Day
Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 7:17PM We had a grooming, snuggle and play day...that's about it...
More tomorrow!
Caring for the Pups
Monday, October 10, 2011 at 6:38PM
Even Shoshi who has never had pups loves the snuggles the puppies give her.
When we had our first litter she thought they were Martians and she acted as if she was afraid of them.
Now she finds that they are quite sensational. See what time does?
Risa Overlooking
Sunday, October 9, 2011 at 9:36PM
Risa was trying to manage the little ones tonight reminding them not to jump in her face.
How did she? She had words with them each time they fell on her or close to her.
Risa wouldn't hurt a fly but its funny watching her manage the crew. She even held Jenkins in place.
Once the queen always the queen.
Nathan & the Dawgs
Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 6:39PM
I have a bunch of photos taken from today but no time to go through them this weekend. I will try next week but I will have a few in the various blogs.
We were blessed to have My, Steven and Eugenia with their havanese crew at our home today.
My and Steven brought us this ball that is a great hit. Thank you TRULY!!! We will have to get another cause with our crew it is bound to go missing.
But before we took out the ball (thank you greatly for this My and Steven) Nathan and Eugenia tried to get the crew going by running.
Honest, I didn't cut Nathan's head off on purpose. Here you see Monty staring at Nathan as if he is NUTS and the rest following the leader.
Wish I had time to show you all the photos but later....
Here's just a few...

I do hope we can get the younger set together like this soon.
Fun Play
Friday, October 7, 2011 at 11:30AM
Logan and Kat have a great time with each other lately. It's nice to see. What a big change from when he first visited us.
Kat didn't pay him any attention and Logan was a tad nervous with the crew but as you can see that soon faded.
Logan is a great fun filled dog and he loves visiting us but he loves going home too. I rather like that!
Busy Times
Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 8:58PM WE had a visit from Yvonne's pups and her pups and Nathan went visiting Molly with Roxie and Panda and got not a single photo - oh my.... so I missed out.
Cody is here hanging out and is getting he snip snip tomorrow. He's getting a ton of snuggles tonight.
Fiona gets her ultrasound tomorrow and Shoshi did something to her leg so she is also going to the vet. She has this ^%$# habit of jumping off the deck at the ducks or geese. argh...
Oh well...its a late night update tomorrow as we will not be back till after dinner time.
Catch you then! Dennis will be holding down the fort so to speak till then.
