Happy Birthday, Cooper. The sun is shining on your day and it will be a splendid one indeed! What a lucky boy you are to have that as your cake!

We have way too much to do. We had - well I had a lot of dogs to do so no puppy baths and no photos. Its just a reality as the last time I checked I am not super human even when I want to be.
I know some of you are gardeners. I am looking for hanging baskets that aren't an arm and a leg. We went to a farmers market and they were $60 each. Are they really that high this year? So, please if you see some stunning hanging baskets or window boxes, please send me email and tell me where.
My garden is a mess but we are working 5 minutes here and there. The pups love the twigs etc. They are fast becoming master gardeners and the adults say hey we know how to do this. Coco and Doozie lazed out on the cushions this afternoon with a look of - well this is the life. Jazzy dug a hole to laze in. The dogs are LOVING this weather and all the plants growing as it gives more areas to explore.
Next week I hope to paint the outdoor furniture. I would like to have it done before we start pool time and having people over. Nathan would like me to sand and stain but I said are you going to sand - he said no so its going to be a solid stain over the stain that is on it - no sanding year for me! What colour, I haven't decided.
Pool will be opened sometime the week of the 24th. I am soooooooooooooo excited. Then we will have pups over to swim with their humans of course. We are also looking forward to going to Hunstville and to Grand Bend to visit friends.
Hope everyone is having a splendid long weekend.

The humans have a vet visit for the Spice pups so no real update today. We are expecting rain. Lets hope Sunday is gorgeous!
Coco and Doozie dropped in and so did Cha Cha. Life is rather fun. Dennis and Jon will be staying with the crew at home while we road trip. We expect to be home at 6ish - well we are hopeful.

Jazzy says where did everyone go? Do I get you all to myself, uncle Nathan? Jazzy is getting used to the gremlins - oops the pups and he finds he can move faster than them. hahahaha
Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 7:33PM We are doing so much outside that I am getting later and later on the blogs. It will be easier after the pups depart. With the weather decent we spend a lot of time with older dogs and pups but still my garden doesn't get done. hahaha
Tomorrow Lila and Zoe depart. I am not sure what the pups will do without them. They have had a blast with them. Tiny comes every couple of weeks to hang out and play and boy does he expel some energy.

Brewer played his heart out today. Bet you he is sleeping at home.

Now Jazzy is my resident gardener. He loves the garden so. He is found digging holes and laying in them here and there. I have to laugh. Maybe he will even dig a hole where weeds are so I can get some help. We just love Jazzy! He just adores our yard and late night drinks. heh
Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 8:26PM Not much to report on. Recent visits - Rusty visited - home now. Mabel is visiting and so is Jazzy. Here are some photos of the day.

We had a blast but it was ever so busy today. Can't believe Zoe and Lila go home Thursday and Friday vet time, Sunday puppy visit - oh boy. It best be warmer than today!
Monday, May 11, 2015 at 6:30PM
Zoe is visiting us. You have seen photos and here is one when she had long hair.
I am taking a break from updating till tomorrow so I figure I would share a blast from the past photo.

May each and every one of you have a splendid day. Moms are special no matter who they mother - don't you think?
Thought you may enjoy this video of the Wobble Wag Giggle ball with Barry who just departed.
Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 8:35PM I think I need a day off. Here I am doing a blog after 830. Well, here are some photos from today.

It is a long day but a fun one. Hoping all the moms have a memorable day.

Friday, May 8, 2015 at 9:01PM Dennis took these photos as we were at the vets - a few he took before the vets. He didn't get everyone doing everything. He said they had a total blast but he said staying engaged with the dogs was more important than clicking, I hope you agree. Here is what he did capture.

Levon and Trigger departed tonight and we already miss them.
They LOVE to sun bathe.

Okay he's a visitor too. :-)

That's it for today. Time to lay in the recliner with the dogs.
Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 3:42PM Will update late tomorrow and taking a break today. I have been walking all the dogs and well we cleaned up all the dirt, leaves etc from the decks, walkways etc. Dogs have been playing but I haven't been clicking. Sorry.
Tonight Inula has class. I am exhausted as my body adjusts to all this walking and garden junk. Nathan wants me to go to class but all I want to do is craw into bed.
I promise I will do better tomorrow. Everyone is having a blast. They really, really like the weather and the transition to walks now that the ice and winter is gone. Me, like I said my body is adjusting and I am walking more than Nathan.
Right now he is sleeping with dogs draped on him. He also carried out furniture etc. He too is exhausted. It reminds us we are not 20 any longer.
Our son, his wife and their daughter are driving to Las Vegas from Florida. I am getting blow by blow of where they are. Makes me feel almost a part of it. She has clinical trials to do on Monday so they can't just take their time. Oh to be young. Rather sad that they will be so far away.

Not much to report today. We all had our walks - yes everyone walked. We played and I think they are tired and seem to be finding the tile nice and cool. It was a warm day but high heat is coming. It means air will have to go on or you may have to shoot me. Lets hope for 20s vs 30s. 20s the dogs can help me garden. 30s.. not till night time.
Looking forward to tv time and getting draped by dogs. It's the best part of the day. Nathan thinks they all want him but hey when I sit in that recliner I suddenly can't see the tv. I guess they love me too. :-)

Doozie and Coco dropped in with Carol and I managed to get a couple of fun photos.
I did a lot of grooming today. I did dog walks. I didn't do a gallery. Tonight I am taking a break. My legs are burning and I need to put them up. It's dog snuggle time!
Monday, May 4, 2015 at 6:15PM
We had a perfect morning. We did walks. We played and then it rained and when it was still wet we played despite looking a mess after the play. Oh well, tomorrow we groom again. Remind me why I washed a few dogs. Oh, and those moccasins (Nathan's fave from LL Bean) are falling apart. He LOVES them. New ones coming soon.
Now to figure out that pool shack door as that is well beyond repair. I am studying how to hang a door and how to figure out how to cut out for the door knob etc. It's my summer - must get done job as we don't want raccoons. I am reminded every time I take a photo in that direction. In my new life I am going to be an expert in repairs. ROFL I can build a computer but repair... geez
Here is the gallery from today. Tomorrow I may take my gopro and put it on Inula for the walk. Well, we will try. At least I need to fit it on her (see if she will tolerate it) so I can get an interesting perspective on play and how she sees the world. I am hoping to do similar in the pool with Roxie.
I am looking forward to the pool. I best get raking and cleaning %^$# poplars from the garden before they are trees. Each year we get them as someone two houses over took theirs down. I hate poplars. They grow fast all over and are hard to eliminate. Oh well, that is why I have guys in the house. Me, well I must weed. Still plan to reduce the garden. We shall see if that is a dream or reality this year. I need to reduce my workload.
I think about all ground cover only with a bubbling water pot and the Japanese Maple - nothing else so the dogs have a low maintenance area they can hang out in. Doubtful it will become a reality but hey I think about it. Then it will be the pool, swimming, dogs and it will fade.
Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 3:19PM Just a gallery of today early. Its rather warm outside, don't you think?
There are 2 updates today!
May minimize my updates today as I am trying to recover from going and going each day. We are instead enjoying outdoors as much as we can but that impacts with blogs.
Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 8:26AM
Yum and so much fun, don't you think?
Just celebrating Phoenix's birthday ๐.
Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 7:03PM Please understand that I don't always have the camera in my hand so I may miss something and at other times capture it. We had a huge play session and the camera had no stick in it. It happens. It doesn't mean they aren't all playing. They are. The only one who decided not to play today was Risa. She decided lazing on the cool tile was better as it was too hot today without air.

See it was hot... well hotter than it has been and the dogs need to adjust - humans do too.

That's it for today. I need some serious chillin' myself. I haven't had any down time except when sleeping. The garden cleanup is calling too. :-(
Think we will watch tv and get draped by dogs.
Friday, May 1, 2015 at 6:24PM Need to spend the last sunshine hours out back with the dogs vs doing blogs. Here is a gallery but I missed a lot of what happened today as I was inside washing dogs and pups and Dennis didn't feel inclined to click. I will tell you that Cooper and Scruffy are really enjoying each other. Cooper is still smitten by the girls. i don't blame him.
Friday, May 1, 2015 at 8:10AM Has anyone tried the Wobble Wag Giggle ball from Showcase for their dogs? I want to try it on the adults and pups but want to know what others think that have used it. See https://www.wobblewaggiggle.ca/
