Jasper's New Family

Here is the family gallery.

The last of the Yoshi pups went to their homes. Yoshi is spending her time with me.

We took the xpen down so she knew and we arranged the room. It has been awhile since we didn't have an xpen in here. We have space.

Still, you miss the activity. 

Jasper and Neesi have a long drive home so I am hoping their fared well.

The family brought wonderful home made beef stew and a dessert I never tasted before. It was amazing!! Thank you!!!

It is quiet around here. Stryker keeps coming in here to look around. He will have Winston Thursday night so he will be happy! The Yoshi pups were golden for him as it taught him how to dumb down his play for those that are smaller. So as much as he helped Stryker, Stryker helped them. 

Yoshi is getting extra attention. I have to admit, I have given her a couple of extra treats. She will miss the pups but she will adjust. When one comes to visit, she will be overjoyed and they will be to see her.

Lola's New Family

Can't believe Lola has departed. She connects with Axel so well. I hope she continues that at home. I hardly got many videos and photos as it went so quick.

While Lola was here, she got between the door and the gate. She needs to grow so she doesn't fit. I think I caught it in the gallery.

Well now we are down to 1. Jasper is on Nathan's lap as we try to distract and intergrate him till tomorrow. He will be sleeping in bed with us.

Jasper's Last Bath

How did he do? Fabulous. He liked it all. He is such a midstream, roll it off my back sort of a pup. 

He had his bath this morning and he was fine but of course the other 2 were in the xpen, not running around. 

He is departing tomorrow and has a long drive but they did it with Neesi so they know about travelling. 

This one will sleep with us tonight and have Stryker to play with tonight and tomorrow morning.

Forest's New Family

Forest has now departed. The trio had a fine time today with Lola grabbing attention. Forest just embraced the visit and momma Yoshi was amazing in the play.

Forest and Lola's Last Bath

This is Forest. He is the 1st to depart tomorrow.

He was good for all of it but his siblings were in the xpen awaiting coming out to play. 

I can't believe he is departing tomorrow. The last is to depart on Sunday. 

These are all good pups. They have no fear about going around the adult dogs. They simply want to play.

This is Lola and she had her last bath. She was great but she wasn't quiet for the blow dry. You see Dennis took the other 2 out and she wanted to play.

She did chase Axel around as he is here for an overnight and he plays with her back. It is delightful. It was as if they were meant to be.

The pups had fun. Nathan has to go to class with Stryker. We have a number of departures so I am staying home.

Jasper will have his bath tomorrow and he will depart on Sunday. Xpens will come down. Washing everything to put away will be a part of our Sunday and we will concentrate on the winter break visitors.

Mother's Work is Never Done

The pups had a great time with Jamie and with Stryker and Momma Yoshi. They had a ton of fun multiple times today.

They ran the downstairs hall and I will get them up later.

Downstairs Hall Play

The pups played downstairs today for 2 sessions. Dennis will take them up later today.

They really want to hang out with the adults. I guess they are getting of an age where they wonder is it fun going outside but we will wait so you have that snow experience with them. I think that is fair. I don't want to rob you of a first. You should enjoy the experience.

Dennis placed so many toys down in the downstairs hall that it looked like an obstacle course but they didn't mind.

Just the 3

Here is the Gallery

We are down to 3 till Sunday. Two will be departing Saturday and the last one will depart on Sunday. It means the last will join us in bed as it wouldn't be fair for him to sit in a crate when no one else has nor to sit in an xpen by himself elsewhere. I hope this doesn't spoil him but it is only 1 night. 

The play is different with 3. When we bring Simba, Stryker, Hazel and any others upstairs, they do play more boisterous.

Usually we do not have pups this long so it is a curious thing on how they react when half has departed. I get to see a different side of them. I find it fascinating.

They are smart. I move the treat bag and they come running literally. I think they are treat motivated. LOL

I had them out this morning and Dennis will have them out twice to 3 times more.

Playing in the Hall

We didn't take the pups upstairs as there are just the 3 and we have had a busy day. Nathan is at class so I suspect I will be taking them into the hall after this blog. 

They were a riot about the duck treats, which they love so. 

With only 3, the play is different. I get that. Winston went home today and Stryker was looking for him. The play just changes. They adapt and enjoy the moment.

It is my day off tomorrow, I think. If a pup goes home, I will figure out another day. We are in flux and so are they and it is not like they live around the corner.

So, we go with the flow.

Chester's New Family

We are now down to 3. The pups are sleeping now. I hope the pup slept for the long ride home. 

It was fun to watch all the pups playing with the family. They were missing the youngest as she was not feeling well. 

They took a photo with Yoshi and she was pleased to be asked.
