Knuckles New Family

Here is the family gallery.

Knuckles has departed and Riley and Butch are very quiet. I imagine they are wondering what is going on. It's hard on the last ones.

Elvis who is visiting to get spruced up and play was in the kitchen with Kinsey so it was a busy crowd. It was a fun one too. 

Videos are coming later as I have groomings to do. 

Ms Riley does not depart till this evening after 530pm so updates for her will come later. Mr. Butch Cassidy will remain till Wednesday. The xpen will come down and he will sleep with us tonight.

Last 2 Tempie Pups Baths

Here is Riley's bath gallery.

How did she do? She was great! No problem with the bath or the blow dry. Nails were done, pads were done and clipped hair around rectum so no stickages. Though their output had been pretty solid. They had their last deworming a few days ago with no issues.

Here is Knuckles last bath gallery.

This puppy thought the bath and the rest was a fun experience. I have to laugh. He goes home tomorrow and is the 1st. Riley will depart in the evening. Then Spirit will have Butch remain for 2 days. No more xpen. He will play with the adults and sleep with us.

We will do fun things with Tempie. It will be a change for her and I must say she has been a marvelous mom.

It's interesting that we also had March Break boarders that have are will be departing so out house will get quieter than it has been.

As Butch will be staying for 2 extra days there will be less photos, less videos and different in many ways. 

Mr. Bean's Farewell

Mr. Bean has a long drive home so easy journey, little one. You were a star in the tub and for the blow dry. I hope you turn out to be a mighty swimmer!

Mr. Bean's Last Bath

Mr. Bean will be the 1st to depart tomorrow.

He was golden. No complaints with any of it. Maybe he will be a swimmer. He was funny in his photos in the gallery - tail up, head up high. He makes me laugh.

Luna's New Family

Luna's new family gallery!

And so it begins....

The pups are starting their forever journey. This afternoon, I will wash Mr. Bean and Boni. More on Spirit's blog as this will be different departures.

The pups were full of beans. They were running, jumping and plain having fun. You will see in the videos. I will upload later. 

We celebrate for the families as it is an exciting time! Lots of changes for us and for the new families in different ways. Dennis made a comment this morning that he so enjoys and loves the pups but they are also so time consuming to do it like we do. It is all worth it!

Now I have to go figure out if her bags to go home are complete. 

Did it happen fast to you? I guess not but it surely did for me. 

Down to the Wire

Nathan got the shampoo and conditioner today. It was the last thing he had to buy. Now to get them in the bags. Tomorrow Luna has her bath, photos etc. Splash will be the 1st to depart. Then on Saturday 2 more have baths getting ready to go home Sunday. You get the idea. Lots of changes for us including moms and for you the new families. It is an exciting time - a new journey for the families and the pup.

Only a few days left with 6 and then one goes. It is like bittersweet moments now for me. I look and go how am I going to do this without you? Yes, I have other dogs but they capture a piece of my heart. How could they not?

First Snow First Outdoors

They were not quite sure what this exceptionally wet snow was but they investigated. No one was overly concerned. It was a great experience for all and then they started getting cold. Paws were lifted and it was time to go in. You always watch for paws getting lifted as it is an indicator that they are cold. But they were great!
