The puppies had a blast today. Dennis had a meltdown as he thought the turkey was thawed and I had to cook it today. I will start prepping it at 8am before the 1st departure and the ones remaining will have yum turkey.
This is the last full day as 13. They eat. They play and then they sleep. it's such a tough life. they do have an immense amount of fun. This one will be flying on a plane.
Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 8:28PM Frankie will be the very last one to depart. She will be with us the longest. She is also the one going the furthest away - something we just don't do - selfish as we like to see them so I hope they send photos. She has been delightful. She is curious and ever so loving.
So going to miss this crew and hate I am too busy near the end. Got to figure out a better way.
Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 8:19PM I am sorry that I am so late in blogging. Right after I finish the blogs, I need to stuff all the bags going home with the pups and when I get up tomorrow, I start grooming. I also still have paperwork to do on one puppy. So - late night - short blog. You know the drill but pups are starting to go home this week so I must keep at it.
The pups had a day like it was summer and they sure embraced the weather. Me too. Despite having an insane schedule, I got my puppy time and fresh air. Dennis is upstairs playing with them now.
Videos should be up. I have been multi-tasking.

Here is the gallery of 3 crew plus Frankie and Lilly and Jamie play.
I must admit she was quiet at first when the siblings left. After all they were in a separate xpen but she is flying around playing and truly enjoying. This gal will be here till the 15th. She will be one of the last 2 that will depart that day - I think. We shall see.
Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 1:29PM You know memories are the best especially when they are attached to a moment.
Today Theo dug into his human's dad's pocket and stole his keys and dad didn't realize till I saw him with a mouthful of keys. He also escaped out of the xpen as Nathan forgot to close it. What a start of a fun - keep you on your toes experience.

That's it till the 15th. The lone dog Frankie is now in with the 3 crew. They seem a tad confused but they will figure it all out.
Pups played like crazy and then it was time for Rosie to depart.

They are now fast asleep and is a tad late for dinner but they chose sleep vs eating. That's okay. Lots of changes over the last 2 days. Changes for Tempie too.

What wonderful emotion captured with Dash's new family.
He was the 1st to go home. We heard he is following her around and didn't eat. That is all normal. He had food before he left, besides. It takes 2 to 3 days and you are all they want. :-) So many changes for these little ones.

This one has a 4 hour drive. I hope they all survived it. It's a huge change for this little one. Long car drive, new place and all. I suspect they will not be getting home till an hour from now. Missed indeed!

Friday, September 30, 2022 at 5:15PM How did he do? Absolutely amazing. Okay - we are going to do this and that's okay with me. Tomorrow his humans come to get him. Will miss this entire crew. So much...
How did she do? Oh my gad is she a poser. Look in the mirror - is that me? Do you want me to pose - here I am. I had to laugh.
These 2 depart tomorrow. The last one called Frankie will depart on the 15th. She will go in with the 3 crew tomorrow after the departures and everything upstairs and downstairs will be 1 pen. Life is about to change for many. Good things often come with change.
Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 5:35PM How was Dash in a bath? He was so funny but seemed to like the water but he was not crazy over the dryer or the time it took to dry him. I know it had a lot to do with here he was stuck taking a bath and everyone else was playing. I so laughed but all and all he was really a good boy. Most hate the dryer and you have to condition them.

How did she do? Another water dog. She was great in the bath. The blow drying was more than fine but the dogs were away and sleeping after play so she didn't have any - hey that's not fair that poor Dash had. I will remember that when I do more baths tomorrow.
The next 2 that are going home are Rosie and Theo. The last - not sure I have a name for but he is hanging around due to airline restrictions and come Saturday night will be in with the 3 crew.
If I have mistakes - apologies. I am extremely busy and time constrained.
Pups played outside and had a blast. The 3 crew has hit the challenge of playing without fear as the Tempie pups have.
