Picnic Photos & Details

The picnic date took place on August 17, 2019 from 12pm to 5pm at Yvonne's place in Brighton. Check out the details here. Photos from the 2019 picnic can be found here. Yvonne's place is NEXT DOOR to her old place. I will try to put a havanese flag out front. Hope you can join us. Directions are here. The house # is 25. There is no picnic in 2020 due to COVID but hopefully in 2021. Stay Tuned!

Woofstock Is Back

4 Weeks Old

Well, the pups are eating well. Dennis had them eating last night and we continued today. Output has increased. The introduction of food does that. This is not their 1st food but as you can see we have softened kibble, sprinkled with chicken and mousse. They LOVE it - all of them.

A couple tried the water. A couple said nah. We will continue to get them to realize the benefit. This is the 1st step of the road to no moms at night. We do this to enable them to make the transition of being comfortable with being independent of canine mom at times.

They will not go upstairs till they are eating food and water, they also have to be exposed with each other and getting along. Tomorrow we will start play together for 5 minutes at a time. They will also get exposure to upstairs. Exposures to new places can create stresses but that's the idea so they build their coping skills.
