Sorry, I am late on this. Our son dropped in with his girlfriend so good thing I made the turkey. They were just in time. I cooked, they are cleaning. I am celebrating as I do not have to clean.
I still didn't get the photo of 1 of Adele's and one of Roxie's together. I have to wait till Nathan takes both mom's out as I do not want it to be a stress-filled experience. I will get it soon. There is a significant difference as most of Adele's pups are 9 ounces more than Roxies. With 9 days difference in age there will come a time that they will be of similar size.
Now the pups have an issue. It is hard to get 5 pups saddled up to the milk bar as they are too fat. So we sometimes have to make room for them. It's a riot. Mom will start sitting up if this continues but I suspect when they walk they will slim down. That's the usual.
They are all just over a pound except the last born. They have slowed way down in gaining as they are becoming very active. They will slim down when they start walking. Eyes and ears start opening anytime from now to 3 weeks. Life will change in so many ways when they do.
Here are today and last night's videos.

Wow, they are getting chubby. I love them all bundled up in that beautiful pink blanket. They are looking so well.
They do look like chubsters lol
it pulls at my heart strings when I watch Adele with her pups and think about the fact this is the first time she's been a mom. It's special.
These little ones are so cute. Adele is so attentive. Loved the videos. Made me smile. Again beautiful colours. Love the tails. I forget how Rusty was at that age. and it has only been a year.
Tracy, they all hit the 1lb plus weight. They now have a hard time fitting side by side to eat. It's a riot.
Is it me or are Adele's puppies growing and gaining very quickly.
Love their round tummies.
Kathy:
They are actually on the same track as Roxie's last litter. The first week they are supposed to double their birth weight and by 10 days pass 1 lb. They do grow a great deal in the 1st 2 weeks. Then by 3 weeks they are attempting walks and sometimes the weight ends up stagnant as they are burning so many calories. I have had a couple that did not do this but they remained tiny like Mia and Bella.
