Vet Visit

Here is the gallery.

The vet visit went well. The girl made a noise under her breath from the microchip insertion. It actually hurts them. It was done in a way that was funny as it wasn't a mean sound but rather a oh my gad that hurts. It was her saying ouch - what are you doing to me? The boys were silent and compliant. You could tell it hurt but they silently endured it.

That gal is a character. She made us all laugh. I so wish she was staying.

This bunch is really amazing. They are quieter than most. Very even keel personalities and even the vet noticed.

Here are their weights.

Girl 3lb 2oz

Chocolate boy 3lb 2oz

Sable white back feet 3lb even

Black tri 2lb 6 oz

Everyone had a complete health check. They check ears, knees, heart, respiration, heart, bites, teeth, structure, temps etc Sometimes the heart races and the respiration is off as they are nervous. Not this crew. They were really even keel. Sure the microchip and vaccine shot hurts but they were wonderful. We now wait to see if they get sore. Some do, some don't. If they do get sore, you have to handle them gently but it passes much like you getting a vaccine.

I started getting the puppy bags ready. We still have things coming. I also still have to know names to do dog tags for their collar and leads.

It will all come together. It is going to be a fun journey for you and for the pups. This is an outstanding crew - every single one. I will miss them immensely. So, I hope I get to see them when you go away or need a day visit when you are out and about and can't take him/her with you. Plus it would mean a great deal to rain.

I have to play catchup on videos. Looks like we will be seeing 2 families on Saturday and 2 on Sunday for their last visit. Then they will have baths and photos before they go home and a family photo.

How did this happen so fast?

Here are the videos. Be sure to check out the short videos and the longer ones. There are 2 links but that is how YouTube sets it up.
