Chester's Last Bath Plus Play Gallery

Here is the bath gallery.

Oh my he was a dream boy for his bath. He was a class act. He may be a swimmer yet!

He has big pads so I am not sure he is going to be on the tiny size. I think he may be stocky and substantial but not oversized. He is such a sweet boy. I so enjoyed giving him a bath and he was so good, I was able to take the photos of the bath and table by myself. He cooperated that much!

The pups had quieter play with only 4 after the bath. They had their moments of boisterous play but it was fleeting.

They played. They had duck treats which they ADORE and they had a ton of fun. One even went into the tunnel so he could eat without someone trying to get his. Mommy Yoshi even corrected one and she tells them she means business but not in a bad way. She so loves them!

Eevee's New Family

Another has departed and has a long drive home to 30cm of snow - ouch. They will experience her 1st snow. I hope they take video. We are going to miss her!! Too far away to see her. Maybe if they ever visit Toronto...

Oscar Petey New Family

He refused to look up as he was raring to go have some fun with the siblings. We so tried - well Nathan did as he takes these photos.

They were so full of it this morning. They are now fast asleep and I suspect they will be for a bit. 

The pups and hopefully the family enjoyed the 6. 

Eevee departs this afternoon and we will be down to 6. Miss him already. He is such a senational puppy!

Baths Before Departure and More

Here are the bath photos.

This is Petey. He had his bath 1st and he is the very 1st to depart. He was amazing with his bath. I put Petey's and Eevee's in the same gallery as you can see who is whom.

Although I am highly busy, they made the experience a wonderful one.

Petey also started a game today that I caught on video called the 'keep away' game. He is good at it.

This is Eevie. She is the 2nd pup to go home tomorrow. She was also amazing with the bath. I needed that today and they made me smile.

This is Pippin who will be Eevee's pal. Pippin was a wild one when Nathan was attempting to hold them so I could click. Eevee just looked as if to say WHAT! They did interact a bit but no full out play but we will try again later.

By tomorrow night we will be down to 4 pups. These two will be madly missed!

The pups had a ton of fun. I need to get stuff done so I can get them out just before bed.

Nathan has picked up the last purchases for the bags so I need to distribute them to the bags. Dennis is off so Nathan will be entertaining the dogs and I will be getting things done.

Insight

Here is the gallery.

If I get the pups up too late other than their usual 1030am (got them up at 1230pm) they are wired for sound. They are mischevious. If I get them up at 1030amish, they are not. It is something to be noted.

They tried to go after the pad and my ankles today but I was having none of it. After they expelled energy, they quiet played. I tell you this to let you know that all pups need to expel their energy even if you do the chase game with them.

Tomorrow Petey pictured above and Eevee will get their baths, nails, pads done before departure. I also have to get others to groom plus Momma Yoshi may be today. I am trying to fit her in. 

They are not eating 3 meals a day - more like almost 2 and I say almost. They are gaining. This happens with smaller pups so do not fret if they do the same in your home. It is normal and small means less food required. 

I have finally finished the bags today other than food and shampoo and grooming spray that will be placed in bags after Nathan picks them up tomorrow. Why last minute? That is when the food and deliveries come to Global so it is what it is. Would I like to be 100% done? YES!

Tomorrow is Dennis day off and Nathan is off to the vets for Stryker for his 3rd shot then off to Global and Stryker will go back 2 weeks later for rabies.

I did manage to get the videos uploaded today - a miracle. 

I went to bed at 11pm in order to get the bags done and finished one ornament this morning and emptied all the bags to make sure everything was in them other than shampoo, grooming spray and their 5lb bag of food. I have lists every which way and if I miss something, Nathan says in front of guests - but you forgot this. I warn you as I think he likes to tweak me. Think next time I should get him to do it. I am so laughing.

Dennis will take the pups up the last 2 times so I can exercise, do laundry and clean. My office looks like a war zone and always does when I create things. 

I will be sad to see the pups go. I never go to the door as I say my goodbyes ahead of time before you arrive. But I am happy you are getting these magnificent beings and they are. They are what brightens every single day of my life and on a positive note, on the 7th I may stay in bed all day as the last 2 depart on the 6th.

Too Busy

Videos will go up shortly. Just too busy getting pups ready to depart. As in, I am insanely busy and this is my day off.

Pups start going home this Friday. Nathan has more medical stuff to contend with tomorrow so I am doing stuff on my day off. I think it is Dennis day off tomorrow. Oh boy....

Pups had fun. I had them up once. Dennis has had them up twice and they will go out again just before bed.

Very Busy Day But Fun

Busy buy tiring day for humans and pups. We had fun. They ran. They played and simply had the time of their lifes. Can you imagine being a puppy and just playing every day? To play all day and nap between and oh yeah eat too. LOL What a life but oh boy they bring so much to your life. That they do. 

I can have a terrible challenging day and you snuggle, play ot simply look into those eyes and the world is okay for that moment. I call it puppy magic!

Good Morning to You

As it is Dennis day off, I have been doing puppy loot bags and pups and cleaning and laundry. I am laughing but the best part of the day is puppy time. Nathan is sitting in the tv room with dogs napping. 

Pups were taken out twice. I will take them out again. Then they go to bed and I will stay up to do more stuff for the loot bags.

They are real characters. They so make me laugh.

Mothering

Here is the gallery.

Yoshi is a grand momma. She has fully weaned and is correcting them if they dare.

Today the pups were full of it and a bit mischevious. As a matter of fact, I brought them out late so they were raring to go. I brought them out too late actually. I am juggling with all I need to do and finish before pups depart and that lays on me. I will get it done. I usually stay up late to do so.

I do have to get a replacement cover for the cot. If you find a cot used, let me know. Even the adult dogs ADORE them. 

All pups are sold. The people who are getting the last pup, I adore and I mean I truly adore them so I am happy for them and happy for their dog they have now who really likes the pup. A part of me said the puppy can remain and be very happy about it but this is right for so many reasons. It is a great fit and that is why we do this to give smiles and when I see these people smile I do.

So, that's it. Till the next litter and that will be next year - not this.

Afternoon Play

This one loves to pose, I just laugh. I catch her in so many poses looking cute. It makes me laugh. She should have been called Runway gal!

Pups had a ton of fun. Dennis did the 1st play and I did the afternoon. It was a busy day as I had grooms to do and I am busy gathering stuff to create to go home. Nathan still needs to get the food, shampoo and grooming spray. I still need to make things and my order came in for blanks and now I must start designing, cutting and pressing. I have much to do.
