Oh What Fun

Today was a grand day of play. They ran. They had a blast and they chilled. How much better can that get? 

I am trying to figure out if it makes more sense to port over to a new community or port over to Squarespace 7. Someone else is vying for my business and it needs serious consideration seeing that squarespace has let me down on the comments but I am waffling on what is best. Stay tuned. It won't help us with Rain's pups but maybe later on.

We shall see what I am doing tomorrow with grooming. It all depends on Rain.

Otherwise, we had a few brushouts today. Rain and Hope are where the xpen is as Rain wants company and she gets that comfort, as that si so important. Then when pups arrive she will be focused on them.

The 2 siblings, Lachlan and Ollie were here and they are so lucky that they get to see each other as much as they do. It makes me smile to see them!

It is Dennis day off. I am in and out with the dogs and printing on the 3d printer in the hall. LOL Life is never normal but we try.

Oh the dogs love deep. It's amazing how they look at you with adoring eyes and snuggle right into you. It is a joy.

Oh Boy

This is day 2 of moving the printer, getting boxes and xpens set up. We are far from done and xrays are tomorrow night. I am doing the bulk of everything. Dennis is finally helping with cameras, xpens etc - well at least he will after dinner. We had to move couches, recliners - lots of stuff and then I have to get all the supplies ready and test heat lamps, cameras etc

I had plans to set up a different message area as they can't get comments fixed so here I am last minute trying to figure it out. Some are cost prohibitive. I may not make it before pups but you can always message me. Do you have my phone#?

I had 3 grooms to do today among other things. I haven't combed anyone else yet but need to but setting up for pups is priority.

Dogs still had fun and they were  curious at what I was doing. It has been awhile since pups...

Monday Musings

Today the dogs had fun, Me, not so much. You see, I am moving all my stuff out of here to make room for whelping boxes. I started putting all my filament in the main floor office - perfect place as its next to this room. Nathan said no - it is my office. He hasn't used it in years. I loved the filament into there anyways. I did it all myself. He said absolutely not to the 3d printer - that has to go out in the hall. Can you imagine a 3d printer out in the main hall? But tomorrow that is where it is going. I only have 2 places otherwise it is too far away to watch and will go unused - the office or the hall. So, tomorrow, with Dennis help I will move the printer, the table, the equipment that goes with it. It was supposed to be my day off. I am tired and still much to do. We will get through this.... Tonight I look for sticker paper and mark each cord so I can reset it up. Maybe I am strong enough to move the table with Dennis instead of disconnecting and reconnecting it all back again. We shall see. So much to do to get ready for puppies. Wednesday night is xrays.

Dogs had fun. I did manage combouts. They ran with Dennis outside. They played their hearts out today. They literally had a blast but I need to get back to getting ready for pups. I feel like I am moving without moving.

Life is fun when you are a dog here. I want to be a dog too.

Rained Almost All Day

We had a lot of play inside due to the rain. It is grand that they can play inside and outside no matter what the weather is.

The sun is now out. Are they wanting to go outside? No. Feet gets wet and muddy but no green feet today - 1st time - hooray!

Grass Cut

Here is the gallery.

Grass cut and the dogs enjoy that it is not so wild and wooly. They have more room to run and they are enjoying that. I think when I mow the next time, I am going to wear a back brace as I think I pulled something in my back. It is insane how much I use my back and you don't realize till it hurts and you use it. I hope for it to be better soon. 

Unfortunately, I am still getting green feet on dogs. It means lifting and washa washa that green out. 

Next Wednesday - xrays. Monday my day off. I won't be setting up this room and moving things out till after Wednesday but I have to get it ready next week. It is going to be fun seeing pups but still very upset Comments are not working. I was thinking about making a group chat in messages or messenger in case you want to interact as pups arrive. If you are interested, send me mail and I will start creating one. 

Oh Boy

The gals are going in for xrays on Wednesday at 4pm so I will be posting late. I have much to do to get ready as I have my 3d printer in here among the other stuff I need to move out. So lots of work for me and Dennis will do the cameras and xpens. I will fill them etc.

As Jon started a new job, I am doing the mowing and I guess due to the length and wetness, I actually pulled my back and am in serious pain. This is new to me as it has been a long time since that happened. I will get past it. I am going to dig out a back brace and take a pain pill - yep that bad. I had planned on washing a dog but as it is one of my dogs, it can wait. 

Some of the dogs got green feet today so I was washing feet today from the grass and lifting was not fun. They were delighted to smell the fresh cut grass. Go figure.

Washa Wash

I have been playing catch-up on bath of my own dogs and it was Sage's turn. What a happy gal. I also did Rain plus a couple of others.

I also was weeding out back and trying to blow the debris out back. I had the dogs out and the blower bothered them so I had them up on the deck blowing away and I am still not done. They were just not liking it. Dennis was gone. Nathan was gone so I was trying to watch and work. They just stared wondering what I was doing. Then we had a run game and they were enthused. Running changes everything.

It is funny how dogs react after baths. I try to time some so before they are going to go home, they are kept clean and clearly enjoying life. 

Long Day

Sorry, I started at 6am - will be the same tomorrow and just finished for a 14 hour day. So, this blog will be short as that is all I can muster.

This is Arlo's last full day and he has had an immense amount of fun. He gets a haircut and bath tomorrow and then gets to see his people. Bailey - too. 

If I sat on the couch, I would be asleep so instead I am in a chair and the dogs are looking at me as if to say - bedtime mom?

Monday Monday Can't Beat This Weather

There are 2 blogs today - a birthday and this one!

We are attempting to weed - well Dennis and I are. It's a dream to cement over the backyard and just do pots. LOL I miss the pool this year but with a pool heater going and the air conditioner going - too much to fix both so here is to next year.

Birds are plentiful this year and the dogs tend to be fascinated by them. I laugh at their curiousity. It's truly nice to watch.

Our darling sisters turn 12 today. They are the best dogs we ever could have asked for. Thank you so very much.

What a day. I just finished grooming since 8am today so I am short blogging it. I am so tired so forgive me.

Dogs had fun. I didn't get to run with them today but that is okay. 

I did manage many snuggles with the dogs cause hey that feels good as they so love you back!

There is a dog under there. Can you guess who it is? It is Murphy and we had the real pleasure of a short visit with her and she so still remembers her sister, Safi.

What can I say - the dogs have been having fun but as I weed, the dogs distribute the weeds EVERYWHERE.

I am exhausted. I can only do so much grooming and weeding in a day. I need to mow too, it seems but not today.

I tried to dance outdoors and it riled up the dogs so much that they were attempting to jump all over my body and that hurt so we stopped that game. Have to think that one through.

It is warm and toasty outside. Dogs are enjoying each other. 

Life is good as a dog. It just is plain fun when all you think about it relationships and fun. This is like going to a party and taking in new and old relationships that make you smile. Don't you wish that was our lives?

Dear Darlah and Nathan,

Today Nafas turns one! I can’t believe how quickly time flies. I just wanted to share a picture with you and also wish Stryker a very happy birthday! I’m sure he’s going to be spoiled today too. ❤️

Nafas is going to have an ice cream , cake, lots of extra treats, open her gifts, and of course, go to the park to play!

We also want to thank you both for giving us this amazing little puppy. We are so incredibly grateful for our little monkey. She has absolutely changed our lives and brought us so much happiness and love. We couldn’t imagine our lives without her. ❤️

Crowded Times

This is Emmy's fave place to sit with Nathan. It is a riot. She chooses to sit behind him and when he is done typing, he places her on his lap to snuggle. It is a riot!

The dogs had a sunny day today. 

They played. They ran with me and they chilled. It was an absolutely wonderful day!

Rainy Day For Sure

Too rainy today to hang outside with the dogs. 

Magic was here for a haircut - shorter than usual nut not too short. She looks lovely but did I get a photo? No. Her mom wanted me to time it that she arrived when she was done. That was stress-filled but I got it done. I like to accommodate where I can.

We just finished dinner and empty plates except for Spirit who tends to eat every other time. She's healthy. I am reminded not to be concerned so I am not but as moms we like our babies to eat. 

I am exercising less than usual. I need a kick in my behind to get back to normal but instead I am trying to figure out where the 3d printer will go to make room for moms. I was going to put it in the office but was told my junk is taking too much room up - spaces no one uses. LOL This will be interesting.

We did a hall run to make up for my slacking. It is not counted in my app but I feel better and the dogs love it!

Dennis was told he has serious sleep apnea but even though ohip covers basics, the machine is about 2 grand. Doesn't sound right so he is exploring if he can find it cheaper. 

Looking forward to snuggling with the dogs while my 3d printer prints for the next 5 hours.

Gardening

Arlo is helping me weed - seriously, How charming is that? I pull yje weeds and he puts his face in it and wears it. What a character.

My comments is still not working. I am frustrated. Last thing they suggested is to put accounts to moderate on my blog but that opens it up to be changed by someone essentially making them have access to everything. I am not happy with that so I am looking for other ways before deliveries. 

Dogs are having fun. It is great weather to weed in and the dogs like to make a mess of my piles.
