It is Melting

It is the big meltdown and I tell you the weather is amazing but it is totally messy out there. 

Ren's delivered pads and Benefect and get this. They put it on the other side of our garage. As it was Dennis day off, I trudged out there to look for the mail and realized the boxes were there. So off I dragged the heavy Benefect and the pads - all 5 boxes into the house, empty, distribute all while Nathan napped. I am laughing. 

I took my exam last night for the 2nd level of this training I am taking and I passed only getting a couple wrong out of 50 questions. I am improving. This level was on batching, maintenence and how to correct flow and calibrate. I now have to do the advanced classes, Wish me well. I am now a Maker and attempting to become a Builder. It is not easy learning while distracted, interrupted and have 40 other things to do but I am attempting.

I see on my screen, as I type that we are under rain warnings. We really need a rip roaring rainstorm to clean things up but of course we won't get it. It will rain, get cold again and ice will set in. We are all hopeful for spring including the dogs. 

Today the dogs, while I was out was nose to nose with the rabbit. I went to grab the camera and it vanished. I so wanted that photo. It was magical. The sory of my life - the photos I miss that must stay in my memories of the misses I could have had if I carried a camera around 24/7 and even if I did, would I watch with my eyes or grab the camera?

The dogs came in after Nathan's nap and plunked themselves on the couch as if it was a taste of heaven. I had just washed some blankets and distributed them. It was as if I gave them the best gift in the world. They are so happy with the little things. Life with the eyes of a dog...as to what they think...

Warmth, Rain Then Cold

Well Jamie sat and watched Dennis give a steak bone to Ella. Hardly fair in a crowd - asking for trouble idiocy but he gave the dog closest to him it and Jamie sat patiently watching. Then suddenly Jamie had it. No conflict. He just was patient till she stopped. He managed to finish it. Charlotte, although in the same room didn't clue into it. As a matter of fact no one went near Jamie when he was gnawing away. I call that success. So Dennis not thinking actually worked.

It is my day off so I try to stay out of the frey and do things that I want to vs what I need to. Today I catalogued my PLA filament. Sounds boring. It was but tick, it is done.

The dogs are manuevering all this melt. I went to the mailbox in a tshirt and marvelled at the weather. It was glorious. If I had a dry chair, I may have sat outside and read a book. It is better than the news.

The weather is supposed to be rain for several days - thunderstorms. Hope no one is afraid of the storms. Then it is supposed to be cold again so I suppose ice. Can't win but at least we are getting close to spring or so I want to believe.

Dogs have been playing. I hear them pouncing and jumping and well Marco kissing somerone. He has the wrong name. It really should be Romeo.

Hanging Out

The havs are hanging out and oh we have 2 that are not havanese too. LOL Does everyone get along? Absolutely yes!

Ice is melting. It is my day off tomorrow and I may stay in bed longer. We shall see. I never do. We did manage to stay in bed till 7am which would have been 8am and the dogs allowed. How did yours do?

My birthday is in a couple of weeks and for birthdays we get to have 2 days off in a week. Imagine how excited I am. I know crazy about a day off when people still ask you to do things but no water dishes, grooming or cleanup. It is something!

Malla has departed. She is the dog in the photos. Think she is 6lb soaking wet. She is a little thing full of personality. I think she is the smallest we ever bred.

I am about to eat and Jeannie and I are going to eat some chicken. She rather likes that.

Wet and Yucky

I had a long day of grooming and I have the same tomorrow so this blog will be short.

Remember time changes tonight - well really tomorrow. So sleep in and don't look at the clock that you forgot to change. That is what we are attempting to do.

The dogs had fun today despite all this yuckiness. Hope you did too!

Busy Times

Dennis hasn't clicked enough photos. He has been too busy trying to remove ice so it is safe for the dogs. 

Will I get photos up? Not sure but if not, tomorrow I will do a 2 day gallery. No photos today nut you can see Coco and Hazel playing. I will do a dual gallery tomorrow.

I am tired today. I was doing minimal exercise and now back to my normal and my body is saying it needs a nap but I stay awake. I like to sleep at night.

The dogs - last night climbed over me, licked my face, took off my socks that I put on to feel warm - well not every night. Sometimes I don't go there as Hallie likes to eat socks. 

Do you have a dog that likes to eat toilet paper or socks, or underwear? I am told they love you more than the usual. LOL 

Rainy Icy Day

Ice and rain makes for such interesting times.

I still have a dog to groom and she is a challenge - well over 16 now and hates trimmers near her face or scissors so I act really really silly, use scissor and clip then do it again and clip. I wonder what she thinks with this game but I suppose due to the reduced sight, she finds this all so scary so we do our best and forget about the rest. I suppose it is called good distraction.

All the dogs that are here are having a gredat time but really iced be gone. We grow weary of it. What a winter this has been.

To be Smitten or Not?

Must be the smell of a fresh clean gal but Marco was crazy over Ellie today. It was a riot. She kept rebuffing his overtures and then she left. I swear he is upset that she is gone. LOL Relationships - they can be complicated!

Dennis and I are about to watch a tv show with the dogs. I have to finish the blog 1st. 

The games the dogs play are so interesting and yes, it is still very icy out back. 

Treacherous

It is Dennis day off and Dennis went to get more tests done. Nathan went to the doctors for a trapazoid issue. Me, I went outside and almost fell on my ahem navigating the ice. Dogs seem to be fine. Me, I was holding on for dear life and had to do this several times on my own navigating and slipping and sliding. 

I told Nathan I can't do it again so it is him before bed - not me. 

We did do a ton of playing indoors. I acted like a complete idiot dancing, jumping and got them so excited.

It was a truly fun and outstanding day except for hanging on to anything outside hoping not to fall. 

Dog Play

Not many photos today but the dogs are having fun. They are playing like they do not have a care in the world and they don't. Wake up, go outside, eat, go outside and play and on and on and on.

So love the carefree attitude of the havanese. They bring so much joy to my life - my own and visitors alike. Can't get better than that!

Ms Juni departed today, She has been with us since they staged and sold their house. She will miss the craziness but I bet she is happy to be back with her humans. They are always happy to be here and happy to go rest at home. LOL

It has been a full day. We had special treats as we have a birthday boy here.

Dennis and I are about to eat and watch tv and be slathered with dogs. 

Life is fun today as we had a run down the paths, special treats and games.

Fun is to Be Had

Marco and Thunder are having a grand old time. It is a riot. The 4 siblings that are here are now fully intergrated and playing with most.

It is my day off as Nathan has a doctor's appt on Monday and Dennis has more tests to do so today is it for me. What am I doing? Trying to figure out a solution for these cardboard filaments that Sherry got me. My AMS doesn't like them so I have almost completed a hack that allows me to use them - hooray. Just took all day. A wonderful way to waste your day - am laughing but if this works, I will be able to buy these 2 brands and use the rims and middle section with each filament of these 2 brands going forward. 

Rocco came in the door as if he was ready to party. What a riot that boy is. I am so glad as he looked like he needed the fun distraction of a party hearty time.

Vivi has decided that girls are better to hang out with than those boys that attempt to mount. She tells them off and they listen. They must know she is serious. LOL Good one! 

Gucci brought treats and everyone got a few and well that was amazing. On another funny note, Gucci tries to mount the boys. The dogs are such characters.

Everyone is having a blast and today they stood outside and watched the rabbit slowly and methodically walk across the yard without a care in the world. What a riot. She no longer thinks the havanese are a threat!

It's a Who is THAT

The dogs are fascinated by this being in our yard. They no longer chase it but they all stare and I imagine wonder what it is. I guess they have seen it so much that the chase game no longer happens and the rabbit actually looks comfortable even when the dogs are outside.

It has been a slushy day out today. Lulu is departing soon and we can't let her out as she is freshly groomed and well she wouldn't be if she went outside.

The dogs are truly getting along and we had 6 dogs arrive today - 4 remaining - 2 just for day visits. 

The dogs are totally enjoying each other!

For the Fun Of It

Dennis and I are watching a strange tv show called Twisted Metal. We are on season 2. The things I watch for Dennis. LOL

We had dogs come and go. We have Vivi adjusting spendidly. We have Gucci full out playing. Everyone is playing but it brings smiles to see.

I am still exercising daily though I reduced my time as it appears to irritate Nathan but I decided to go back to my usual. I find after 2 months of reducing, you get flabby and I do want to fot into shorst and all that come spring so we are back at it.

I am finding while we watch this show, the dogs give me much comfort. Do they know something I don't?

Doggy Play

Socks and Hazel came in the door and Sage and Hazel are playing up a storm. I guess they remember each other. 

I have been mega busy so we only have a small gallery but be assured that everyone is having fun. 

The play is silly play - just like I like it and I suspect how they like it. 

Dennis has to go get more tests done now for his kidneys tomorrow. He seems to be at the doctor more than Nathan. LOL I am sure he is fine. It will mean I will be doing more tomorrow. LOL Oh and Dennis ate all the leftover popcorn nd said sorry. I laughed. He deserved it too.

Sherry - I'm making headway on printing rims. Got one brand done - now working on the other.

Snow Coming?

It has been a lazy day. Dennis is off so it means I do more and well photos are secondary. I washed floors as a few dogs marked on the floor. I change water. I change pads and I even fit in exercise. Oh, and that laundry lol. Hope you had a day that was more relaxing.

I had a roaring grand time running like an idiot in the house expelling energy in me and the dogs. My apple watch said I did this for 64 minutes straight and most of the dogs either watched or hung in with me. It was fascinating to watch who was energetic. Yes, we do silly stuff here but it exercises me and them. I can't wait till spring though. 

They say snow is coming. Fun...well the yellow will disappear but still. 

Monday Monday

Lucky is a lucky gal sitting on high like the princess she is. She departs today. 

Murphy likes to sit in her crate and I say hers as she has claimed it. Mr. Ozzy arrived. We have a number of arriving and departing going on. It is also my day off and I am  playing with my 3d printer making drawers to go under it to hide all the tools. 

Yesterday I made Sherry a fun purse. You are supposed to be able to line it and put flowers in it or so they show it as. 10 hours later - yes laughing as it was different. You never know what you can make and she makes purses with her sewing machine. Murphy gets a groom when I wake up and wonderful that Sherry is good enough to have her home. I wonder who will steal Murphy's bed at night after she departs. 

Ms Juni is going home this Sunday if their house sale goes through. She will miss this place. I may have to do her just before pickup as she would never stay combed. There are just some dogs. 

The sun is shining. Weather is not bad for winter. We hear Florida is downright cold. 

Vivi sauntered in the door having a ton of fun already. 

I am short blogging it today. I just want to relax. I want Nathan to get me popcorn and he is crabbing about it but hey, I think I deserve double layered buttered popcorn - don't you? 

Play Before Departure

Sorry, Sherry - think Dennis forgot to click Murphy but she has been enjoying Juni. Juni is a puppy that we now have to put away from Winston as Winston thinks she is in heat and she is not. LOL So, it is as if Murphy says to her - I will hang out with you as I get it.

Cassie, Arlo, Lola, Axel and Olive depart today. They have all had a blast!

It is wet outside so those that are departing after grooming can't go out. We had snow fall off the gazebo and fall into the kitchen. The dogs barked at it. It was funny. 

Wet and Fun

I am trying to get Nathan to get me a double layered butter popcorn from SilverCity and he says - no, I am too tired. That is okay. I am eating fishies with a chicken sandwich and the dogs are looking at me as if to say, where is mine? I feel guilty but they already ate.

It was mighty wet outside.

Winston thinks Juni is in heat. She is not but Dennis is going to sleep with her tonight and we have Winston with the guys vs the girls.  

The dogs got mighty wet so too much grooming today. Blog is short but they are having a TON of fun!

Mostly Indoors

This is Arlo. He is having the time of his life getting to play with everyone.

Winston and Quinn - siblings played till 1am last night till finally Nathan said ENOUGH. I put ear plus in. LOL Oh the fun they had and I couldn't stand not looking at the play. Quinn has departed and I net he was sleeping as he played hard this morning too. Winston is playing with Opus a tom. 

We have hardly been outdoors as it is raining - cold rain and dtipping wet dogs. You get the idea so we have been playing games indoors - running, catch, fetch and anything else to work those minds.

Thanks goes to Ronnie for some chocolates. I do love chocolate. LOL Thank you for soup and a special present of hiding treats mat from Quinn's mom. 

Thanks goes to Murphy's mom for an unexpected gift of a sander for these 3d prints. Am hoping it works and helps post print projects. I do appreciate all of you!

It is Nathan's day off. He is upstairs reading and sitting in a recliner. 

We had Elvis and Rosey here and they had a ton of fun after grooming and Elvis before and after as he aws the last to do. He would be more apt to wreck himself if Dennis let him out when he took the dogs out after a groom and I would be doing more work. 

Lucky thinks she is the queen always choosing her high up position. It is funny... and well everyone else is doing well and having moments too.
