We had a baby opposum on our deck today. The dogs were inside and Dash wouldm't stop barkinf at it while he looked out. I guess as it was a baby, it pais Dash no mind. You see we fed a few dogs outside tonight and they spilt some food. Oh, did you call me to dinner?

They are the ugliest things but they do eat mosquitoes and about anything else. 

Dogs were fascinated. Dash was crazily interested. Quinn and Winston paid it no mind. I guess no prey drive there.

The dogs needed some fun and this was their tv.

One has to laugh!

Quinn LOVES Lola. I just laugh as for some reason, he is delighted she is around.

We have 2 Lolas here today. We had a number of new dogs and the platers are playing and some are watching then joining in when the opportunity presents itself. 

Tenshi's momma and daddy gave us these steak treats and the dogs ALL adore them. With the dogs here, they disappeared in a flash.

No orange air - perfect weather and an amazing amount of dogs having fun. It can't get better than that!

Oh a Fine Day

I brush Quinns hair and he messes his entire head up. I so laugh as he is such a character. Ollie just looks at him as if to say - really. Nathan  earlier asked Quinn to come up and he shot straight up and into his lap without any hardship. He is ever so agile. His brother Winston is coming so he will be excited. Momma just tells Quinn off if he gets rambunctious and he listens to her. It is so funny!

The dogs are having an immense amount of fun.

Happy 4th

Hi Darlah,

Rosie would like to wish her siblings (Dash, Maggie, Frankie & Theo) a very happy 4rth birthday today! Hugs & kisses to Mom and Dad (Tempie and Truffie) too!

We can't believe that 4 years have passed already! She is such a delight and makes every day special. We just love her to pieces! Thank you, Darlah, Nathan and Dennis for bringing such wonderful dogs into the world! :)

Out Between the Rain

Here is a mini gallery.

It is raining off and on. Dogs departed. We got out as much as we can but we have rain again so only a mini gallery today.

Quinn arrived and he is a silly crazy dog having a blast. It is a joy to see him.

They have escalated my comment to someone in their engineer department. Good thing pups are not coming till August.

Thnx to Tenshi's owner they gave us some steak freeze dried treats and the dogs LOVE them! She says Tenshi is picky. LOL

Sunny Times!

We have some real playing machines here. It is a riot! Some have already departed. Some are waiting to be departed but some remain so will the fun!

It seems they have transferred the comment issue to someone else in hope that it gets fixed. I just need it fixed before puppies.

No orange sky - sun blazing bright. We celebrate but too hot for walks, Still - better than last week. 

We did run games today indoors. It keeps us in shape - them too and then they nap. What a life, indeed!

We are doing the happy dance with no orange smoky haze. I hope it stays. We shall see. The dogs are happier as they can go out longer. They were couching it with Dennis earlier.

I am so glad they can go out. I did sterilize all the floors etc. as with them going out less, we had cleanup and a dog that peed on our rug at the front door. Good thing I have a ruggable but its a chore to put it back down and line it up but now crossing my fingers I don't have to do that for a bit!

They Do Play

Winston's owners ask from time to time, does he really play? Yes, he plays everytime he is here and now I have photos in the gallery and here.

We had a rainstorm and knocked down a bunch of stuff but it has stopped. The air is cleaner so they can go out again. Let's hope it stays that way. We keep getting blamed for smoke in the states so mat as well head that way. Not that I wish it on anyone nut someone who lives in the white house. We are still under a thunderstorm watch so good that we are getting the dogs out now and will do so after dinner. I still have grooming to do and I am tired today. 

We have a great bunch of visitors. It is a blast of a house at the moment!

Such a Gang

This is Teddy who was a rescue that was overweight and waddling and look at him now. His family has given him a wonderful life.

We have quite the gang of dogs here having a huge amount of fun. They are making me laugh.

Smoke seems to be staying at bay. It was already supposed to arrive. I hope it moves on. But we shall see as the fires are not under control.

I think the comments are fixed now. Earlier they were going into a holding spot to see if they are spam and I just release them. We shall see what happens now but at least I can now talk to you especiakky with dogs here and with pups coming.

Woody Smell

They said the woody smell and orange haze would go tomorrow but now they are saying through the weekend. What is a dog to do? Go out quick, and come back in. I am so glad we have air.

We are keeping potentially pregnant gals inside. They are pad trained.

We do have fun running the halls and acting like crazy people. 

I want to tell you a funny story. We kept hearing this beeping for hours and finally went to investigate it. It seems our neighbour threw his carbon monoxide detector out the door as he couldn't stop it. So, we did it for him.

Not many photos as we are not going outside for long. With air in your car. Short times in and out of places, we are good but you shouldn't be sun bathing outdoors. They say it will be better tomorrow and even better on Friday as it moves down south.

Amazing how hot it is. I had a long day of grooming so just getting to the blogs.

Despite the heat, the dogs had a great time and we did a game of find the duck treats. They loved it.

Oh the Fun Play

Squarespace is working on comments and after pups arrive, I will work on porting over this website while I watch them. Till then, I am hoping the comments get fixed.

We have a lot of dogs departing up till 8pm and the dogs are playing crazily. Oh, and it is HOT. I sat outside with a few in the shade and they were panting so indoors we came.

Oh and Bailey's 2nd momma brought chocolate timbits. Yum! Tuppy's dad brought chocolate - yum. 

oh and Fuge's mom and dad - thank you for the use of the fan. I am still waiting for Atousa. We used one fan in the bedroom and 1 in my office. We still use Atousa's but feeling guilty having it here so can we deliver to you? I rather like this fan so need to know where you got it.

Everyone is having a blast. They are jumping all over each other, running like banshees. It has been a really great day for the dogs. I am happy they are happy!

I combed everyone out today and already they are a sight to be seen from all the play. That's what it is truly about - just having fun! If we can't have a lil bit of fun then how is life worth it. So, like the dogs do, find your play and just enjoy. They certainly know how to.

I Remember You

Cinnamon was reacquainted with her son Watson. It was delightful to watch him play. I wished that I was not grooming and someone else was napping. Her humans should have seen it too. Watson is having a glorious time. So is almost 17 year old Mia. She hates grooming though and guess what I need to do tomorrow so I will play and snuggle with her while I groom and it will take me twice as long but worth it.

Mr. Fudge is back and boy is he a happy player. Socks, Hazel and Winston are playing their hearts out. Socks is an older guy too but Hazel has brought him to life. 

Everyone is having a blast. 

Rain Arrived Crazy Play Here

Rain arrived. We had warnings all day. It is supposed to rain all night. Dogs are having some truly outstanding moments that create memories. 

Dogs depart tomorrow. Dogs arrive. I have groomings and we are trying to figure out a day to visit someone. It has been crazy but we will get there!

I so want the dogs out of heat. We are going to test them tomorrow. Today the boys said not today - we still smell. LOL

Cloudy But Hot

It is hot but cloudy. Dogs are enjoying. They love the outdoor couch and who can blame them. It is mighty comfortable.

Perspective

Here is the gallery.

It is funny how little lends a perspective to being a puppy and that is how she is treated. It is why Coco says no, I am not a puppy and I am the boss. LOL I laugh and laugh at here.

It has been warm but comfortable. Humidity is not high. 

Lately I have been doing comb outs later in the day. For instance, I shampood Fudge's underside, rinse and letting him dry. Tonight, before departure I will comb him out. If I do it now, he will be a mess again. Boys will be boys....

Getting Reacquainted

Guess who is back - Coco the Maltese and boy is she unusually excited. Oh she likes it here but it has been awhile so she was so excited to see her pals. It was great to watch.

Dogs had fun. We put out ice in a huge plant saucer and the dogs loved it. But really it is still warm so they love indoors. I have to laugh.

I am working on reaching my 2 million points. Doing the math, that will come, if I keep my 4,000 points a day in 2 weeks and I will probably finish all the sets to finish the library in 2 months. I have slacked at times by doing 1 or 2 sets but have not missed a day in a 1 year 7 months. 

Now it is time to relax with the dogs and watch tv.
